I use Glenn's for every car I've ever had. Today, I dropped off my car thinking I would be spending well over $500 on transmission issues but Mark really helped me figure out what was going to be best for my price range. After all the work that was done, it only came out to be about $200.
Glenn's is the definition of helpful. I've never felt scammed by these guys and their always reliable when it comes to meeting my time crunch in getting my car back.

I have been going to Glenn's since Glenn owned it, today i went in for oil change and i had a $20 off coupon, the guy behind the counter laughed at me and said, I'm not accepting that, it was a coupon i received from Norm, he started asking me how i got it and why, he said Norm is not even here anymore, i said there is NO expiration date on the coupon, but he still eould not accept, sad that they lost a long term customer over $20, the service has gone downhill since Norm was let go and i will not be back

These guys did a great job! Two of my cylinders were misfiring and they took care of it the same day as diagnosing it. Mark helped me out a lot and even helped set me up with a third party to do payments on the repair job. The cost is reasonable for the work they do. Will definitely be back!

So I went here after my 2001 honda accord started to act up. The first diagnostic found nothing wrong with the engine. So they charged me half the price for the diagnostic. Second time, they admitted the car may be on the end of it's service life. They asked me what they want me to do with it instead of making a suggestion to do a 1000$ fix. I told them to change the oil and tell me what's wrong with it. Turns out they were right, charged me 160$ which is incredibly fair compared to alot of mechanics. I'm grateful to them for being honest. I will go out of my way to go hete

Wonderful service. Went in for a preventive transmission service. I apologize for not remembering the gentleman's name who helped me, but he was very helpful. Continued to contact me and inform me on what was needed as per my manufacture recommendations.
I will be using Glenns in the future. Hopefully it's just for preventive maintenance and nothing serious.

Good service, if not a little pricey to be honest. None the less you get what you pay for here which is good service so I'm fine with that.The man at the service desk was personable and offered excellent customer service. My only gripe is my car took a day and half longer than first quoted. I'd recommend this place.

My daughter's VW Passat was running rough so I brought it to Mark. He and his mechanic looked at it and needed to know if the ECM (engine control module) was good. Took ther car to VW dealership to determine if it was good, it was. They wanted to charge us $5,300 to fix what they thought was wrong without really determining what was wrong. So I called Mark back and he said bring it back and we will do the right thing to get it done right. He saved us $2,200 by taking a methodical step by step approach to diagnosing and repairing our car. All the while communicating with me the step by step

I would give less than a star if I could. I went in on 4-22-20 to get an estimate just to install mufflers that I had purchased, literally just to cut out the tube that had been welded in by previous owner and weld up the mufflers, a weld at each end. I was told it would be 1hr shop time and the shop time was $125 per hour. He said it would be that price because they remove the exhaust to weld off the vehicle to make a complete weld around the tube and said I should be weary of any other shop that welds while the exhaust is on the vehicle. Went in for an emissions test and my check engine light was on.
The staff drove my car into the bay, and had to have seen the check engine light on, but still did the inspection, knowing it usually fails if the light is on, and what do you know?! It failed!!!
So, after touching my car for 2 minutes, I had the privilege of paying them their $30 fee, to fail my car, knowing it would more then likely fail before they ever put it on the machine, and never brought this up to me. I was pleased with Glenn's. They were able to get my car in within a day of my initial call, they quoted me $100 cheaper than the other places I called, they worked quickly, and they had a loaner car for me to use while repairs were made on my car. It did end up costing more than originally quoted (about $85 - they replaced my high beam bulb per my request), but I was very pleased with the staff and convenience. Though I haven't been driving due to Snowpocalypse 2018, my brakes worked great on the short drive home, and I know once I get back on the road I'll feel a ton safer. I&apos

Beware, you will be charged a diagnostic fee. Went here to check a problem with my car. I assumed they were experienced car mechanics. After leaving it there for most of the day, they couldn't find out what the problem was, instead I paid almost $150 for a diagnostic fee. There was no report, no advice given either. If their machine doesn't reveal the problem then they can't help you. Disappointing waste of money.

Fantastic experience and renewed my trust in auto industry. Fair and honest price and no fancy sales manship ..after a very disappointing experience at another shop locally who totally overcharged her on a tune up and then refused to give a breakdown of charges. This place was the best and a complete contract to prior experience. Just shame I had not done more research and checked Nextdoor and their recommendations. .10 stars if I could.

I just moved into Federal Way from the Eastside and had to find a new auto repair shop. I loved the old shop I used to go to so finding a new one was a bit scary. My brakes were making noise so I had to bite the bullet. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Glenn's Auto. Norm was super friendly and really funny.
