I will be filing a formal complaint against Dr Shilpa Paradkar with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, NYS Department of Health in Albany, New York 12204. She attended to my daughter (20 yrs) who came in w chronic tonsillitis and needed bloodwork prior to her scheduled tonsillectomy. On the day my daughter went in her tonsils were severely inflamed and she was quite under the weather and in pain. Dr was abrupt w her and gave her a COVID test stating that a sore throat was the main symptom. Daughter asked Dr Paradkar to check for an abscess based on her ENT’s inquiry.

Horrible service. I went in for my annual physical which my company insurance covers and they looked at my history from my previous medical center and made it a sick visit to charge me additional outside of the main appointment. They also messed up my sample and force me to come back for another but ensured that I had to see a doctor which incurred other fees. I made it very clear to them I just needed to leave the sample and they instead made up reasons to have me see the doctor so they could charge me fees. I was told that they needed to give me vaccines but when I got there it turned out that

I found Atrium PC to be incredibly modern and hi tech healthcare practice among so many others in the Upper East Side. Dr. Shilpa Singh belongs to new generation of medical professionals who are not only professionally competent but are, at the same time, friendly, considerate and compassionate. Her staff from desk to doctors to billing to check out is efficient, prompt and friendly. Dr. Shilpa actually makes you feel that she is not only interested in your well being alone but in your life as well.
I would earnestly recommend that one must give Dr. Shilpa credit for her thorough professionalism

I normally don't write reviews. But if you're looking for a primary, I'd look elsewhere if possible. Long story short: avoid this place if you can. There are many other decent and REPUTABLE doctors' offices in Midtown, let alone Manhattan.
Difficult to see the doctor so I'm often meeting with the PAs whether in-person or via Telehealth even though the appointments were set with the doctor. Not to mention them being 15-20 min late to the appointments.

I started going to Dr. Shilpa Paradkar about 4 years ago. I found this practice through ZocDoc and they had great reviews there.
Dr. Paradkar is extremely professional and friendly at the same time. She is my families Primary Care doctor and we are very happy with the service we get here. We've never had any insurance/claim issues and always have a comfortable experience here.
Their office is also very conveniently located, is always clean, and their front-desk staff is always very helpful.
I highly recommend Dr. Paradkar and Atrium Medical to anyone who is looking to have a long term Primary

Dr Bikhman was recommended to me. She seems great. I've never met her. I scheduled two appointments, about 1.5 months ahead due to my own busy schedule. I scheduled online. Both times I was called the day before to cancel. She wasn't going to be in the office. The first time I figured she maybe had an emergency. Yesterday, I was told she was on vacation this week. If she was going to be gone, why let people schedule? And if you do, why wait til the day before to call??? Not going here because of this. Office looks nice but who cares when you have to spend so much time fighting their billing department?
Multiple times after my annual physical (which is fully covered by my insurance), I had to call the office and then my insurance company back and forth to remove billing charges, as it was supposed to be free. I waster a good 8-10 hours on this.
Whether its incompetence or malice, I can't tell, but why go to a doctor that is trying to squeeze the most $$ out of you?

I started seeing Dr. Bikhman when she was a part of another group practice and followed her to Atrium. I cannot recommend more highly, she is dedicated, patient and professional. Also, anyone that she has referred me to was just as wonderful - she is completely worthy of your trust.

Came in with knee pain (due to incorrect squat and lunge form during home exercises). Dr. Wahib corrected my form and gave me some basic PT exercises/stretches to do on my own for a few weeks and I felt like new! When I returned for my checkup with him my IT band was less tight and my legs feel stronger.

Dr. Ross Morgan is good but their limited hours and rude front desk staff (Nirmalla) makes it hard to recommend this office.

I went to Atrium Medical for the first time today and saw Dr. Bikhman and will definitely be returning. I have had a very difficult time trying to find a primary care physician that I liked. I have been switching every year or two and I think I finally found a great one in Dr. Bikhman. She took her time to get to know me and my full medical picture, answered all of my questions, was caring and kind, nonjudgmental (even though I really need to eat better and exercise!) and never rushed me or treated any of my concerns lightly. I have high standards for medical care and rarely give 5 stars on anything. Atrium Medical is an excellent practice! Dr. Paradkar and her staff are caring, efficient and timely.

They offer online scheduling, have a good patient portal and recently added an app to access the portal even faster from your phone. I've never had a long wait time on the phone or in the office. The office is clean and modern. Billing is turned around quickly and when I had a question about a bill, they were very prompt in responding and following up with the lab.

Terrible customer service - The doctor told me that, for a very short visit, I would be billed a reduced rate. I then received a bill for a much higher amount, and the billing manager refuses to offer the doctor's promise because I didn't get it in writing.

I won't be back.

Yaffe Ruden went downhill so I decided to follow a couple of the doctors here.

Bad choice....they referred me, then asked that I go and get my blood test record from Yaffe Ruden--I'm in a doctors office so asked if they could save me 3 trips and just take my blood and they refused. They wanted me to go back to Yaffe Ruden, get my records, fax them over before I could have any Rx written.

If I'm in your office and you are a doctor, can't you just take my blood and save me the hassle of driving to 65th, then faxing the records to your office by taking my blood? I have insurance

Truly a wonderful primary care practice. I've seen a lot of doctors over the last year or so for various reasons, but I've been putting off getting a physical for nearly 4 years because my experience with other doctors has left something to be desired
Dr. Paradkar was efficient but I didn't feel rushed at all. She had terrific bedside manner but also was incredibly thorough and made the experience a true joy. I'm psyched I've finally found someone I trust and who takes the time to understand my issues and identify next steps to make sure my health is moving in the right direction. Thanks so much

Came here for my annual physical and worked with Ross Morgan. He was great. Made me feel very comfortable and at ease the whole time. Felt like they were very thorough and great to work with.

The office was a bit hot, but other than that no complaints. No wait at all to get in and their scheduling system is amazing.

This is a wonderful medical practice! It is conveniently located. The staff is great and the office is clean and modern. Dr. Bihkman is personable, kind, patient and remembers who you are. I never feel rushed at our visits, taking the time to have a thorough conversation each appointment. I followed her from her last practice and am happy I did.

Atrium Medical is a wonderful, state-of-the-art medical office with amazing doctors and staff. I have been seeing Dr. Bikhman since 2014 and I could not be happier with her as my doctor. Dr. Bikhman is caring, experienced and knowledgeable. To her, each patient is an individual and not a nameless number. I have always been treated with respect, had all my questions answered and have never walked away feeling like I was unimportant. I will be Dr. Bikhman's patient for a very long time.

Dr. Paradkar is a dedicated physician who is keen to get to the root of your health problems. Her staff is very kind and attend patients with passion and devotion. We ( my husband and me ) are very impressed with her professionalism. No doubt she belongs to the new generation of medicine professionals who are more humane and actually interested in their patient lives.
