Sushiwa

While I have not been there recently since I do not work in the area anymore, the many times I have been there were excellent. One of my all time top three sushi restaurants. Always fresh and well prepared, usually have several hard to get fish from Japan and Hawaii. Go to spot for sushi foodies.

I want to update my review - Sushiwa is without a doubt the highest quality sushi in our area. Their fish is so fresh, so consistent, and so good. I love sushi of all types, but I truly appreciate a place that can serve the highest quality simple sushi such as just salmon on rice and have it be unmatched. The chefs and staff know what they're doing. They recognize me and greet me warmly when I come in. And they serve the best and freshest sushi in the area. If you want a deep fried lobster mac and cream cheese roll, i'm sure any place is fine, but if you want really fresh fish, sushi rice, wasabi

This place is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a fair supper, this restaurant comes right away to my mind. superb and many types of food and a rich menu.professional team, and nice atmosphere. Also important, the cost is decent. I sent my friends to this spot with great pleasure.

The food is fantastic. Some really good, creative dishes. Would be 5 star with a better value. This place is EXPENSIVE. I do think it's a little better than the average sushi spot, but at close to twice the cost. Only visit very occasionally for this reason. I can get great, comparable food for much cheaper at other places.

The sushi here is great. I absolutely loved it. There lunch special is more than enough. It is a bit small on the inside for dinning in but if you get there early or don't mind the wait it's great. But if you do mind takeout might be a better option for you.

First time here, nice staff clean place! The food presentation was amazing. Prices were reasonable and for a good amount of food.
Planning on coming back!

Ok so I've been ordering takeout from sushiwa but I stopped that because it was expensive and I've had better sushi. However I happened to find the actual restaurant (on a whim) and thought, why not? It's a cozy little place (I'll give it a 4) so I order a special roll...ehh... I've still had better and it was a 15$ roll! It wasn't filling (as sushi goes) so to fill me up I ordered a eel and cucumber hand roll.
Ladies and gentlemen when I tell you this hand roll was from God...like I felt like giving then a solid 4 stars just for that roll. Being honest, very pricey for sushi their basics are

Nice place. I sat at the bar and had three sushi rolls: Avocado, Mushroom, and Sweet Potato Tempura. All were tasty, and the Sweet Potato was my favorite of the day. I also had the green tea, but it was not to my liking. I would suggest they get some milder teas to boost the variety. When I got the check, they also gave me a nice gift of a phone stand. Thank you for a fun experience!

This is the best Sushi place I've tried in the area (although I've only tried a few). The ambiance is pretty good and it's BYOB. All the sushi we got was very good and tasted fresh. We didn't like the edamame we got though. It was bland and wasn't served with any sort of salt. Can't go wrong overall though!
