Karl worked closely with Mike Borlee for 10 years and is excited to continue serving the Green Bay community and working to grow the business. For 44 years, 1698 Main Street has been my home away from home. It has been a place that proved to be more than just a shop, further, a hub generating countless learning opportunities to grow as a mechanic, entrepreneur, business leader, and community partner.
Air conditioning systems are quite complex on today's vehicles. At Mike's Service Center, we start by inspecting your vehicle's A/C system to identify whether you have a leak or if your compressor is struggling to move cold air throughout the vehicle. Normal wear and tear happens to all components of a vehicle, and the air conditioning system is no exception.
If your vehicle is pulling to one side or the other, you may have an alignment issue caused by any number of factors. One common thing that can arise when your vehicle is out of alignment is that you'll notice your tires are wearing unevenly and faster than normal. This is normally a strong indicator of alignment issues.
Mike's Service Center sells and installs batteries for Cars, Trucks and SUVs. In addition, if your vehicle's battery needs a cleaning or is experiencing corrosion, stop by and have us take a look. You may not need a new battery. Today's car batteries are set up to recharge as the vehicle runs. If you leave your lights on or run your vehicle's power while the engine is shut off, it doesn't allow the battery to recharge.
Having good brakes keeps you and other drivers safe, especially in Wisconsin winters. If you hear you hear squealing or grinding, or notice less pressure on your brake pedal, bring your vehicle in Mike's Service Center for a brake inspection. In vehicles that have disc brakes, brake pads rub on a rotor (or disk), and pads wear away with use.

Awesome place to take your vehicle for pretty much any need. Great people to deal with and fair prices. Will not sell you anything that does not need to be fixed or replaced. Very honest and trustworthy Mechanic's. Never had any issues/ problems with the work done here. Highly recommended. I will not go anywhere else.

Karl and his crew are absolutely amazing. We went once based off other reviews a couple years ago, have been back every time we need anything done with our car. Karl has always been honest, even to the point of telling us we didn't need something done when we were certain we did, and of course he was right! It's also nice to know they have their weekends off to enjoy. Overall it's just a good shop!

I was new to the Green Bay area. I brought my GMC truck to Karl to repair the brakes system. I use the truck for everyday travel so it was important that I have it back quickly and correctly. Karl and staff did a great job repairing the entire system and had it back to me as expected. I would recommend Mike's to anyone looking for any type of vehicle repairs.

He spent so much time on the phone with me making sure I understood and even let me email him a quote from a different shop to see if that would be a good deal or not.
