Bumble Bee Boxing Club
Bumblebee Boxing Gym offers a kids program where children interested in the sport of boxing can train with successful fighters to learn discipline and concentration which assist them with positive leadership skills. To learn more about the gyms children's program, we request that you review the GYM RULES and contact us if still interested in being a part of the BumbleBee Boxing Gym.

BumbleBee Boxing gym has produced a variety of fighters both amateur and professional. We currently work with over 30 fighters who are each at different training levels, expertise, and age groups. Even though there is diversity within our fighters, we train as a team, support each other as a team, and respect each other as a team.

Anyone who knows anything about boxing in Seattle will have heard of the Bumblebee Boxing Club. The folklore associated with its regime has made it into an icon of the city, and I'm proud to say it's also the site where I started my own journey as a pugilist before setting out into the world capturing fight stories.

Trained here for about 8 months, saw many people come and go never to be seen again. More fall off after first stepping in the ring to spar. The training is tough, everyday you go home drained and exhausted. Don't let it discourage you though if you want to fight in the amateurs this is the place to train.

They get you started in conditioning, like it's boot camp. I came to learn how to strike. Not do mainly work outs and be only allowed to jab. The program only holds back your capability of learning. They teach as if the students are very slow learners and extends your membership for more money. It's over controlled, corny and I highly suggest anyone to try an effective boxing gym and notice the big difference. They are way too stubborn and old school. Any type of art, whether it's music, dance, theater or martial arts. It requires evolution to advance and become the best. Would

My son started boxing at Bumble Bee's in October 2017. He was being trained by Coach Manny ( very professional ) and Coach Bee (who came off sweet but is very condescending) The UGM is a place of great leadership, a place you can call home an overall welcoming. Which is why I can't believe my son was kicked out of the gym. My son trained for 5 months won his first fight. Coach Bee felt like he was ready to fight within the next few weeks, my son expressed to me that his body was sore an he felt like he needed more training I expressed my feelings an concerns to Coach Bee who said if we

I signed my kid up for this place and it was the worst decision! Half the yunger the coaches are not there. They won't even let you try it for 1 fay to see if child is going to like it. The coaches are old and or of shape, so when it came time to show my child how to do some kind of boxing technique or exercise, they couldnt show by example. My child was on his own watching others on how to spar at just 6 years old...dont the coach suppose to show the boxer the proper way to box especially if the boxer is new to it. Only time the coach showed involment was to yell amd scream that my child

This gym is my old home. Every since my youthful amateur days I have learned so much about hard work and respect.

The gym is located inside Union Gospel Mission on MLK. Inside it houses a no frills or gimmicks gym. The punching bags and floor is old sweaty and been through many hard times and long days. This gym has housed many professional champions, golden gloves amateurs, and olympians.

All led by the legendary Coach Bee, he was a former professional fighter and student of the great Eddie Futch (trained Joe Frazier and Freddie Roach) Over the 8+ years I have learned so much in life from

This is a great gym to train for boxing or to just get in shape by doing a boxing work out. This is not one of those expensive fake aerobics-style boxing gyms/classes but a real boxing gym that is open M-F 6pm-9pm. The training is amazing and the results are also. I lost 20 pounds.
