K+H Pure Massage of Frisco was founded in 2013 by Kellum Johnson and Heidi Goodnow, both very experienced massage therapists. Heidi and Kellum were dedicated to the concept that getting a great massage should be an affordable and hassle-free experience. That's why they named it "Pure"-- No gimmicks, no contracts, no high-pressure sales, just wonderful, relaxing, therapeutic massage, pure and simple for you!
To all of our great sorrow, Heidi passed away in October of 2020, but Kellum has remained true to the original goals of K+H Pure Massage. Kellum's specialties include sports massage, deep tissue work, and prenatal massage for pregnant clients. In conjunction with your massage, you may request deep, therapeutic pressure to be performed wherever it is required.

My first visit to Kellum was two years ago. My back went out and I could barely sit in the car to get to my appointment. After an hour massage, I walked out straight up and could sit in car without pain. I faithfully keep my appointment with him every month. My 18 year old daughter is now a client as well and enjoys her monthly massage. Kellum has healing hands and is a wonderful individual.

I looked at so many reviews for massages in the past few days. Not only on here but on Facebook and google. So with that being said I pick Kellum because he had 5 Stars (overall stars) across multiple platforms.
After looking through all of his reviews I decided to email him. Now keep in mind that I emailed him at 1am (I was in dire need of a massage). He responded around 8am and was able to get me scheduled two days later.
The massage was amazing!!! I have already scheduled my next visit with him. I have been hurting for a while and he was able to use his magical massage powers to release

I have to echo Cindy S! As much as I love Kellum and want him to succeed, he is a hidden gem and I hate to share!! I started with Kellum when he was with that massage chain. Never looked back when I followed him to his own business. He works with you to determine your exact needs every single time. Not just a routine massage - he checks to make sure you are comfortable throughout, focuses on problem spots that may raise their ugly heads mid-massage, and is a pleasant conversationalist and easy-going personality. Emailed Kellum yesterday desperate for his soonest opening and he got me in this morning. Had an hour deep tissue/sports massage and walked out feeling SO good. Kellum is a great guy, was fun to talk to and get to know, and, with 15 years of experience, absolutely knows his stuff. He's super conscious to ensure that the pressure is adequate and is thorough in making sure that he works though all problem areas. I could feel myself beginning to feel better as he worked. Looking forward to another massage, for sure.

** I hesitated writing this review because Kellum Johnson is a hidden secret and though I want his business to be successful, I don't want to share his time! So if I call and he's booked up until next month....I'm blaming this review and all you yelpers!
I found Kellum through a Yelp search. I've been going to the gym more often and while my efforts to build more lean body mass have been successful it has left all my muscles sore and tight.

$40 for an hour pregnancy massage. It's more than twice as much at home. My wife was pleased, as Kellum talked to her the entire massage. Some people like the conversation, others would rather sleep. He fit us in on a Saturday afternoon, after I called him, randomly, that morning. Great communication, and attention to what I was looking for for my wife's pregnancy massage. Did I mention that it's just $40 an hour!!! Support him

I had never had a massage before, so I was a little nervous the first time I visited Kelllum(at a previous location). He put me totally at ease, kept me informed of everything he was doing, and paid attention to my responses, both verbal and non-verbal. Want to feel amazing? Book a massage with Kellum! I've been a client for about five years and can say, without a doubt, that he is one of the best massage therapists in North Texas. I've referred multiple people to him and everyone always raves about how great they feel after a session with Kellum.
Kellum doesn't have a fancy massage suite with waterfalls and cucumber water like you might find at a chain massage place. He's located in a smaller building in old downtown Frisco. But really, I don't need cucumber water. I need someone to help me not be in pain and Kellum
