Kenny (the Leasing Manager) is the best, anytime me or any of my roommates had an issue Kenny was right on it, the moving in and moving out process was so smooth! He makes you feel very welcome and he is always very accommodating to your needs (along with the rest of the staff). These apartments are so nice and are very safe! I am a college student and lived with two other roommates and we loved it here! I highly suggest living at Coles Crossing!

I’m quite new here but not at all new to apartment living and I must say that, to date, Coles Crossing far exceeds my expectations. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. All three, Kenny, Jaime, and Pat, have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome here.
I moved here from a very small fishing mecca (both summer AND winter) about 500 miles northwest of Mattoon and the tenants I’ve encountered so far have helped me feel right at home; no fish outta water here. So, I don’t plan on moving again - Ever! 🤗 (Why I think I just heard a HUGE sigh of relief coming from inside the

Would not change filters annually, when there was a fire Coles Crossing made tenants pay for cleaning the smoke. Had a window break...took at least a week of calling for someone to clean up the glass and fix the window, the glass was on the outside where kids played. We were blamed for other peoples kids throwing rocks and knocking on doors below us. There is more but in the end we were kicked out soon after our rent had been drastically raised...we were sued eventually. Many other teneants at the time had similar issues. Your rent will increase if you get any kind of bonus or financial gift etc

The regional manager of this complex is absolutely horrible. Be very careful when signing the lease. I sent in my 60 day notice to vacate, and they told me it arrived 2 days late, when I mailed it 10 days in advance. He told me I was liable for the next months rent, even after I moved out and turned in my keys. There was no negotiating whatsoever, and the regional manager treated me like a complete idiot. The rent also increased by $100 a month to $825, which is completely ridiculous for an apartment in this area! You can rent a 3 bedroom house with a garage for less than that.
