Services
Nitti Hunters Point Resort is a family owned business that started in 1996 when George and Linda Nitti decided to sell Nitti Disposal in Inver Grove Heights and move north. When George and Linda bought the resort they worked day and night to clean the place up. The resort had no cabins, no motel rooms and had very few fish houses.
Cabin 1 sleeps up to 4 guests and features a full kitchen, bath, living area, 2 bedrooms and 4 full beds. Deposits - A $200 advanced deposit is required with all reservations. Your advanced deposit can be paid by credit card or PayPal and will be deducted from the reservation balance upon arrival. Pets - Prior approval required.
Privately charter one of our 52 foot pontoons. Launches are equipped with bathroom and gas grill. It's perfect for company and family get-togethers and can accommodate small and large groups. Enjoy a half or full day fishing excursion. All fishing equipment is provided. Each boat holds 30 guests and we can and frequently bring in other boats to handle groups as big as 90+.
Our Executive fish houses are carpeted, have gas heat, gas lights, table/chairs, padded bunks, 2 burner cook plate, ceiling fan and inside bathroom. They have a wonderful cedar interior and are generator ready. Bring your own generator. Things to Bring: Your own bedding, poles/tackle and bait, slusher, chisel, tape measure, etc.
1. Spread out with your wheelhouses. When they are too close, it will cause massive drifting, flooding and make it impossible for others to fish that spot later. 3. We will have a guard shack for road passes and maps out on the ice this weekend. This will help you get out on the ice more quickly and decrease congestion in the bar.

We rented the biggest shack on the ice and although all was in perfect condition, they stop by to check on us and to check if we were catching fish. I have rented all over the state and these guys have improve tremendously and have moved up on my list. In other places, the lodging guys try to to whatever is possible to help you have a good experience including moving the shack. The bar was small but good as well as the food. Very delicious food! Bartenders were very nice and did an excellent job!

Trying to think of a reason not to give a 5 star.
Was recommended to stay out if this resort for 2022 ice fishing season by many so I went for it....
Enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner Herr several times and always good food/service and prices.
The plowed roads are very nice, and location of resort is perfect.
More than 25 years fishing this lake, and this is by far one of the two best resorts on the lake.
Other one is Twin Pines....

Crazy expensive road pass prices!!! Expect to pay at least $15 a day, I got there at 9pm and planned on staying the night in a friends castle and leaving at 10am. I was charged $15 for the 3 hours to midnight and charged another $15 because I would be there after midnight for a total of $30. My friends son came up and had to pay $40 for the weekend to stay with his dad in their castle. Their hours are midnight to midnight. They said they have 10 people working night and day to keep the roads cleared and safe. Even though there hasn't been much snow this year.

In addition to paying 30$ a day for a road pass, we couldn't get anyone to plow a spot for us to park our fish house. The next day, a employee from nittie hunters drove by with a plow. My husband flagged him down to see if he could plow out the road since it drifted over the night before. He actually said "its gunna cost you". So I dont know if the plowers are trying to make money under the table or if this is just part of their business process. Either way, paying 30$ for a dam road pass would be nice to have a little help from the place that we decided to take our business to. Feels like they
