Energy audit, ECM development, ECM installation, commissioning, retrofit and optimization, all under one roof. We understand every facility is unique and so is our solution - customized and tailored for individual clients. HVAC components and equipment in buildings are interacting with each other. Therefore, we always take a system approach in optimizing whole building energy efficiency.
We team up with R&B Technology's BeOP software platform to continuously monitor the building performance, to make sure the energy savings results are sustained for long term. Sometimes we may be able to work with you to develop a payment plan that suits your special business needs.

Facility Matrix is an energy efficiency consultant dedicated to finding the best ways for your organization to save energy and money. Based in Dallas, Texas, Facility Matrix employs an experienced, educated staff comprised of engineers, project managers and service technicians ready to provide energy-saving solutions.
Facility Matrix offers a full spectrum of commissioning services including Commissioning, Re-Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning and most recently Monitoring Based Commissioning. While most of commissioning services focus on standard functional testing and verification, and recommends measures targeting "low hanging fruits", our optimization services drill much deeper into all levels of HVAC systems and sub-systems.
Commissioning, Re-Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning have long been standard practices to improve energy efficiency in buildings. Today, businesses and organizations can take advantage of advanced monitoring-based (MBCx) techniques to increase efficiency, reduce maintenance, and lower costs on continuous basis.
The Clean Building Standard enacted by Washington State Legislative House Bill 1257 in 2019 is a performance-based energy efficiency framework focused on existing buildings greater than 50,000 square feet. This framework provides each applicable building an Energy Use Intensity (EUI) target based on use and climate zone.
No matter how well HVAC equipment are maintained, it will eventually need to be replaced or upgraded, either because they reach their end of useful life or they simply no longer meet the requirement of the conditioned space. Oftentimes, retrofit projects do not meet owner's expectation in performance, especially energy performance since installing contractor does not commission or optimize its operation after installation.
