First visit to this location. Have not been to a Juan Colorado's in a few years. Service was friendly. Food was good. I ordered take out and found when I opened the meal at home they had missed the mark on the order. Paid extra for black beans and such was no where to be found. Minor detail, but a detail. 3:30pm visit on a Saturday and four tables on the patio were occupied but no guests were inside dining.

The staff was GREAT when we went for lunch last week. Seriously could not have had a better experience.
The food was sooooo good. Portion sizes are reasonably big, esp. the burritos. The prices are a little high, but one does get a nice view (at window tables or tables outside) of the man-made lake in the center of the commons.

Stopped by for the Hawaiian place next door but thought I would give it a try. Got food to go as we are heading home to California. We ordered the super nachos and were extremely surprised by the portions we got a well cooked well covered crisp and cheesy nacho. The chicken was so juicy and well seasoned. I was really impressed. Wish we had time to dine in the drink menu looked amazing and the decor and little Late in the back look great. The woman who took our order was really sweet too!

Everything was most excellent. Right up front, the salsa had a distinct smoky flavor. Not your average mexican restaurant salsa. The pollo a la crema had fresh carrots and mushrooms and a rich creamy sauce. The mole had a sharp chocolate, almost cinnamon, quality. The kids split a fried ice cream that was sizzling when it came out. Everyone agreed it was the finest mexican cuisine we had had in a long time. A cut above the rest and by a nice lake boardwalk to boot.

Tualatin needed this ever since Celia's closed it's doors. The menu is good. Staff are friendly. Portion sizes and prices are right where you should expect them.
My only feedback; a little less cilantro in the Pico de Gallo and a bit less water in the pinto beans.
Otherwise, welcome to Tualatin. We needed a quality Mexican restaurant like yours.
