I started NHB Gear shortly after I began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1998. I wanted to convert my passion for the martial arts into a successful business while serving the needs of the growing "modern martial arts" community. From humble beginnings in my basement to our present full-scale print operation, NHB Gear has provided our customers with quality products.

This is an amazing shop and customer service is SUPERB! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices on kids and mens GI are pretty reasonable. We bought all 5 of our GIs here and we are very satisfied with the quality and material. They did not have the size for my son's GI and they were kind enough to order one for him with no additional charge. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy their martial arts apparel.

If you need training gear or uniforms, look some where else. Stopped by about an hour and a half before closing to find the place closed; door locked, lights off, except for in back where someone was working, stopped long enough to look at us and then back to what they were working on. A few more people were milling around in back showing no intention of coming to the front or attempting to find someone who will.
The photos here and on their website must be as outdated as most of the other reviews. From the parking lot the shop looks vacant save for the display case with gloves and training pads
