At Waterloo Family Dental, we work together to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of dental care available. Dr. Andrew Nothem and Dr. Emma Sowieja have completed extensive training and continue to stay abreast on the latest advancements by completing vast amounts of continuing education courses.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! Our staff is trained, skilled, and has years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient, and we stay current with the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Your initial exam will last approximately an hour and a half. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth on this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.
Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. For the convenience of our patients, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also offer CareCredit with financing periods ranging from six months to five years.
Wendy is by far the best hygienist I've ever had! She's very friendly, genuine, positive and thorough. My teeth are always sparkly clean after she has worked her magic! I'd definitely recommend her! Thanks Wendy! I have never had a dental experience be 'Fun' but I can honestly say that Dr. Andrew makes going to the dentist a fun experience.

I can't say enough about Waterloo Family Dental. I came there as a non-patient in an emergency situation and they couldn't have been any kinder and sympathetic to my situation. It was a long day for all of us, but they made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. This team is bar none one of the best and they gained a forever patient. Thank you!!
