From a very young age, Dr. Carnaggio knew he wanted to be a dentist. He began his pursuit of a career in dental medicine observing in the office of a family friend, who was a prosthodontist.
Your first visit to our office typically includes an X-ray that allows us to view the structure of the jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots, and tooth decay. The initial visit involves a review of your medical history. When you share your medical history, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health.
Our practice is made up of professionals, from our doctors to our administrative team, all of whom take your oral health very seriously. Using our advanced specialty education, along with state of the art equipment designed with safety and efficiency in mind, we are able to offer optimal care. As you walk through our office, you will notice that everything is clean, comfortable and thoroughly sterilized.
We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. Dr. C and his entire staff is passionate, knowledgeable and caring. I have recommended Piedmont Dental to family and friends who have all been blown away by the care they received. Dr. Carnaggio is an outstanding dentist (prosthodontist). I have had various dental problems over the years and I needed to find someone who was caring and extremely knowledgeable. I have been going to Dr. Carnaggio for over 9 years and have made the trip from Cornelius to Hickory which is a 50 minute drive but well worth it. I am happy that he has opened a new office in Troutman. He takes the time to explain all options and he is never in a rush. His staff is wonderful. Please go on their website and check his credentials. You will be as impressed as I was.

What a great office! The staff is so patient and friendly! I am so glad to be able to go to an office where they explain things so thouroughly, and do such a great job! I highly recommend this office for all of your dental needs! It is clean and an all around great practice! My entire family feels comfortable and beyond happy with all of the work they have had done both adults and kids.

Please if you choose to go to this clinic make sure you know what your total charge will be before going. I was led to believe one thing then told it would be an extra 100 dollars for nitrous. I do have insurance actually have two but was told they only needed one. I thought the dentist himself was kind of rude when dealing with my problem. I definitely would not recommend this clinic! I would give zero stars but it won’t let me
