Bob has been working in the construction of buildings for over 40 years. He has worked for various companies; first as a foreman in Oregon, doing mostly commercial buildings. In 1989 Bob and his young family moved to Eureka, Ca., where he worked for Ray Wolf Construction, as a foreman, building custom homes on Northern California's coast for 13 years.
Later he worked 6 years for Pierson Company, as a superintendent, constructing commercial metal buildings, office buildings and a three story bay-front condo/commercial complex overlooking Humboldt Bay. Bob and his wife Colleen moved to Lewiston, California in 2008. He then founded RD Thompson construction, serving as a general contractor for Trinity County and the Redding area.
