I began my adventure to Alaska in 1986, when my husband was given the opportunity with ARCO to live in the amazing 49th State. We moved here right out of college and never looked back. What an incredible state to raise a family. We embraced outdoor activities in any season, and relished being soccer, choir and theater parents.
I began my State Farm life as working in claims, handling total loss fires and a myriad of other types of claims. I became an agent for State Farm in 1999 and have enjoyed the ongoing relationship of serving my policyholders during various stages of their lives. Children of my original policyholders are now grown up, buying houses and vehicles and entrusting my agency to take care of their insurance needs.

Lisa Sanders and her professional and very competent crew are why I am loyal to this agency. We have multiple vehicles, a boat and at one point 6 rental homes along with 2 personal homes. I was never concerned if I was going to be taken care of if I had a catastrophic loss.
While State Farm is a good insurance company, this agency makes this company great!
Over the years when I had questions or issues with my insurance needs they always delivered prompt, courteous and reliable service. Unfortunately this is a rare commodity in this day and age but not with Lisa and her staff!

We have insured our homes for decades with State Farm. We moved to Anchorage in 2003 and continued insuring with them through Lisa Sanders. This year we adjusted our coverage and updated the description of our house because of upgrades and some inconsistency in the detail descriptions. I worked with Noemi Yale knowing that it added an extra unanticipated workload on her. Noemi got it all done and communicated well on email and on the phone. Thank you Noemi.

This week unexpectedly I had my vehicle issues, had to stop by the office for help. Gosh, both Trinity and Miranda were so wonderful and super helpful! Had the pleasure of working with Noemi while trying to coordinate a move across country, changing auto insurance (selling and buying) as well as starting up a new renters policy. Noemi is extremely friendly and quickly it felt as if I were celebrating this big event with a close friend rather than a purely business approach. With the exception of one day where her phone was having connection issues Noemi took extra steps to ensure that I was taken care of and always in the loop. I look forward to returning to Lisa Sanders and I can say Noemi's warm and friendly character is a large part of that
