Excellent service both at the bar and during dinner , steak was a little tough, other than that 5 stars for service and atmosphere.

The food was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress and hostess checked on us frequently. We were offered indoor and outdoor seating. Having chosen the indoor we found it to be quiet even though the restaurant was full. We chose the Saturday night special of prime rib. Cooked perfectly, the seasoning was perfect as well as the crust on top. We both had the french onion soup and agreed it was also delicious having had many bad versions of this in the past we savored it, even scraping the crusty cheese off the rim. They gave me a double serving of vegetables since I was not interested in a baked potato

Sadly our meal this Eve was quite disappointing.The salmon filet was rolled roulade style w the grey mush at the center. Presumably the avail filet was too thin for a decent presentation so this was their solution. Nasty in every regard....paired w overcooked couscous and sickly sweet sweet potatoes....it was edible to a point...but not at all tasty....yuck

If you are looking for a romantic place to enjoy dinner, Shamus restaurant is the place. This quaint old world pub style restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere, quiet enough to enjoy another’s conversation. Great waitress, outside patio, beautifully plated salad! So delicious!

Our server, Courtney was all smiles and very attentive as well as the supporting staff. Wife ordered an apple cider mule that was full of fresh sliced apples and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the bleu cheese crusted steak and the lobster and shrimp pasta and a side of fresh cut fries. We love fresh cut fries! The food was very good.

Steak was cooked medium rare as requested. You don't know how difficult it is to get a steak cook as you request. I believe everyone tries but only few actually succeed. Shamus succeeded!

Excellent food and restaurant!! One of the best fish fry dinners I have had in awhile. My son got the chicken finger dinner. Both were excellent. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Very nice atmosphere!

Fabulous evening celebrating my parent's 70th Anniversary at Shamus's. Food was excellent - not only tasted wonderful but quality of food was 5 star! Our server Robin took so good care of us too! Would highly recommend this restaurant for those special occasions. We will be back!

I can't believe this was only our first time here. The service was excellent. I honestly do not think I have met a friendlier staff. From the bartenders to the server to the owner, everyone was kind and genuinely concerned that you enjoy your experience. The food and cocktails were simply excellent. I would highly recommend the fried chicken, pork chops and french onion soup. We will be back (soon).

My husband and I had dinner at Shamus for the first time about a month ago. We had a delicious dinner on their beautiful patio. When my husband was planning my birthday dinner this month, he decided to call Shamus to have it catered. We chose food from the Comfort Food drop off buffet. It was outstanding! The fried chicken was a huge hit, and the Guinness Pot roast was the most delicious pot roast we ever had. All of the sides were fabulous..fresh mixed green salad, beautiful seasonal vegetables, wonderful Mac and cheese, creamy mashed potatoes and the fluffiest biscuits! All of our guests loved

Upon entering the quaint town of Lockport, we decided to have a spur of the moment dinner. Given the current Covid restrictions and often need for reservations, we were pleasantly surprised. The hostess whom took our call was delightful and eager to meet our needs. She said if we could wait about 20 minutes she most certainly would take care of our dining needs. As we arrived we noticed beautifully decorated outdoor dining with very romantic lighting. The entrance is welcoming and handicap accessible with a delightful ambiance. The food was spectacular. Absolutely loved this place. If you like Irish pubs, you'll love this place, too. Great atmosphere and good food. I specifically recall the Cajun chicken and black bean soup. Just unbelievably delicious--I bought an additional quart to take home with me. The service was stellar--attentive without intruding, responsive without making you wait. I really could not ask for more.

One of the best burgers I've had in a while, the gruyere bacon onion burger. The bar had a great cozy atmosphere, very welcoming with the custom brass bar top. We enjoyed our beers in chilled pilsner glasses, a nice touch! Thanks to the friendly staff at Shamus, we truly enjoyed our lunch.

Wonderful first time experience coming here for a meal! The atmosphere was clean, peaceful and welcoming! Took my grandfather here and we both enjoyed the food we ordered! Thank you to our server Robin for being on top of providing us with top notch service!

I am so sad to have to write such a bad review for this place as it's a cute, cozy place with very nice people. Our waitress was super friendly and professional and the service was quick. However, the food was pretty awful.

I started with a cup of Lobster bisque which was sweet. It was the first time I had sweet bisque and it was not pleasant. I also tried some of my friend's scallops which was super salty, but ok otherwise. For the main course, I wanted the cajun Haddock but it wasn't available so I went with the shrimp risotto with pea and green beans. It was really bad unfortunately

Beautiful outside patio near the court house. Doing great job with Covid precautions. The inside looked very welcoming. However, the food!! My husband, a picky eater, ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with an optional Korean sauce. When it arrived he said"Holy Sh$& this is good!! It was a huge order of 5 pieces. Came with homemade mashed potatoes, biscuit, and macaroni and cheese. Leftover for tonight. I had the lobster bisque that was loaded with lobster and delicious, followed by Beef on Weck with outstanding home made fries. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend

I was with a small group of friends who needed a last-minute reservation for dinner (during the middle of phase 2) - our original plans fell through. We called up Shamus and they were able to accommodate us. They have a decent-sized patio with adequate seating. The tables all had umbrellas, which was convenient since it was 85 degrees out and sunny (not super comfortable, but we weren't allowed to eat inside). Our waitress was very kind - I felt bad that she had to wear a face mask in the summer heat. They have a decent drink menu - I had a glass of a delicious Cabernet. For my meal, I enjoyed
