My friend has an appointment at 12:45 today.
This is his first time going so he wanted to be there a lil early and make sure he was at the right place. He walked in and asked if he was in the correct place and the staff was very rude. If you hate your job then go find something else!! After reading many of the reviews seems something needs to be done!!
You deal with people lots of people, So therefore People skills should be one of the many qualifications for your job!!

This is not a reflection on all workers. I have been a patient of OCIC for years. The care is some of the best in speciality health issues
However, since Covid it seems that quality care and concern has significantly decreased. Many workers seem ambivalent, and even rude. The time of responses to calls are not done in a timely manner and there is no advocate to make any complaint. Today i was tested for covid. My test was negative. However i was given some cautionary measures. When i went to pick up meds...the head person sitting at the entrance told me she could not allow me to use the restroom

Great clinic, but if you're having staff issues, just deal with it. Their staff is under a lot of stress daily dealing with hypochondriacs not needing medication, pill poppers & drug addicts wanting meds that they don't need, & dealing with me a patient that tells them what I have before they even examine me only because I've had whatever illness I go in for over a dozen times like bronchitis.

My husband and son both go to the OKCIC and have had good experiences. They have always been professional, and do a good job. I am not Native American but see to getting my husbands and sons prescriptions refilled for them and have never had an issue. I understand that they are extremely busy and do the best that they can do, while probably being understaffed and under funded. We appreciate the services provided. I've never had problems calling in, and expect to have to wait my turn for an answer. Kudos to all at the OKCIC, we appreciate all you do.

If I was able to give a half star or even less I would for being someone who is Native American who takes medical care very seriously. This place doesn’t no matter if you are or not all they care about is your money I don’t care about the patient they don’t care about our financial issues they don’t care about our emergencies. Now I’m having to drive over 120 miles to a doctor that I have to physically see it because they’re the only ones that will take me did you Oklahoma City indian clinic

Pros: Most of the time it runs well and the pharmacy is great. Some good doctors and nurses. Free office visits, labs and meds. Constantly improving services.
Cons: If you have a problem that isn't obvious and easy to diagnose you're on your own and it doesn't matter how sick you are. Sometimes can't get timely appts or medication refills approved (!?). Must make an appointment to ask questions, make medication changes, get labs results, etc. Super slow referrals even with insurance. Some of the staff are condescending and unprofessional and you just have to deal. You have to be your own advocate

There is a lot of great ppl at the clinic. However, Dr. Natalie Nightglass or Night is not 1 of them. She has no empathy, she's rude, and frankly she didn't help me. She told me I can talk to her about getting my meds refilled or get checked for complications of miscarriage. I had anxiety attacks because of the miscarriage and thought of infection but could not get help with both issues. All she did was look at the computer and reorder my meds that were refillable. I left no better than I had gone to the clinic. If u schedule an appointment make sure it is not with that doctor.

As many other reviews have stated, this clinic never answers their phones. It does not matter what time of day you call or what team you're calling, you will have to leave a message. It then takes at least a day for them to call you back, oftentimes longer. Their system is down frequently, which causes issues with already scheduled appointments and scheduling future appointments. With the exception of a few the staff has been nice, and I've always received good care here.
