I have worked in many modalities throughout the years but enjoy Hot-Stone and Barefoot techniques most of all. I have also found those techniques to be extremely effective in helping clients achieve their wellness goals. Ashiatsu is a Barefoot Massage technique in which the therapist delivers medium to deep, broad, consistent pressure with feet and bodyweight, working with gravity, instead of against it.

The pressure is modified to suit the individual needs of each client. In addition to barefoot work, a combination of hands-on techniques deemed appropriate by the therapist are used. Hot-Stone Massage is a technique that utilizes warm, stone or ceramic tools to reduce muscle tension and relax the body.

My mom has been a LMT for ~20 years (~15 years independently), so I know a bit about the scene & what to look for. Annie gets 10's across the board from me, for 1.5hr classic swedish massage. Her rates are modest & inexpensive compared to most others, but her work is far from cheap. Professional, clean, considerate, receptive, skilled; simply fantastic service. Will definitely return for monthlies at minimum; can't wait to try the ashiatsu next time.

Annie does barefoot massage. It was excellent. I was limping a bit from a trail race the day before my visit and felt right as rain afterward.

Warm, cozy atmosphere. I’d never had a massage like this before where the therapist hangs from the ceiling and uses feet! Quite a different sensation and I’m glad I tried it. I had run 40 miles the previous week and really needed some muscle care. I was worried the massage wasn’t going to be thorough enough or give enough pressure in the right places but I was extremely relaxed and the next day this massage paid off in spades. I didn’t need to foam roll at all -it was an amazingly therapeutic/healing massage and very inexpensive. Totally worth it!! Highly recommend this technique if you’re

Annie really does a fantastic job. I always leave there, asking myself why I don't make massage a weekly practice. She has helped me get through a couple of nagging injuries. She offers several styles of massage and I'm always is always professional. I can't wait to give the Ashiatsu massage a try next.
