I have trained at Wushu Central for nearly 10 years! And over those 10 years I have observed and participated in uncountable classes and events. The main difference between Wushu Central. We have been coming here for 3 years. My oldest daughter started taking wushu when she was 4. My little one started also at the same age.

Great place for kids to learn. Facility is clean, organized and professional. Coaches are great and patient. I mainly enjoy the lessons that the coaches teach the kids about having confidence, integrity, etc. I enjoy listening to my lil one explain what she learned, what it means to have “XYZ” and how she will apply it. Only slight concern is that some of the parents attending can loud and distracting at times. But in all, I respect the coaches and the hard work they put into teaching the kids.

If your looking for Wushu Classes this is the place to be ! My son Eddie has been attending for two days so far . He loves it and can’t wait to earn many more belts . My daughter is 4 years old now. She has been at Wushu Central for at least 3 months now. She began in the Tiny Tigers class and loved it! The coaches are patient with each student. She started Little Heroes at the beginning of August and has learned so much. Lately she has had some difficulties wanting to participate, but the coaches do all they can to engage her so she could feel comfortable and warm up to participate with the group. I really appreciate what they do for my daughter and would recommend Wushu Central to any of my friends and family.

Our 6-year-old son has been coming to Wushu Central for almost 3 years now.
We are very happy with the school and really like that our son not only gets excercise but also learns good behavior and philosophy.
I have to say that we are very impressed with how Sifu Chang adapted his school to Covid changes. There was no break in lessons and online option worked pretty well for our son.

Daniel looks forward to going to his wushu class every single week. He loves the lessons and working hard towards his weekly badge and next belt. The teachers are great in communicating and managing the kids to ensure they are listening, following instructions, respecting adults while having fun. It’s a lot to do in 30 mins and we have seen a lot of change in his behaviors at home. He knows he needs to work towards what he wants and it doesn’t come easy. Great foundation for what life will bring! Highly recommend it for parents to enroll their kids, boys or girls!

My son has been doing wushu online via zoom (we started during shut downs) and it's the one thing I don't have to nag him to do. Wushu is good about encouraging students and teaching them good values and respect. They are consistent and keep the student engaged while helping them strive for improvement. We joined Wushu Central during the pandemic with their online classes, twice a week. Their online classes are run well and are engaging. They make it really fun to learn forms, but also balance it with the need to practice. My son loves it and it's fun for me to hear him laughing in class because the coaches intro new forms in fun ways but also be really focused when it comes time to practice for belt tests.

My kids (ages 9 and 6) started Wushu Central online classes in January 2021. I was skeptical that Zoom classes would be effective to learn a martial art. But wow! Both kids have learned an amazing amount in only a few months. They look forward to their lessons and are totally engaged. The instructors have been wonderful. The kids are building confidence and having fun at the same time. They are begging to do the summer camp. A very positive experience so far!

My son has been going to Wushu for five years. (His goal is to continue, so he can reach black belt) He started when he was five years old. I'm so proud of our boy! He accomplished so much and you can see it and it's thanks to all the hard working coaches at Wushu. Each and everyone of the coaches has their own way of teaching and I can't complain about any of them.

We love WuShu Central! My kids have been going to Wushu Central for 6 years now. My son started when he was 4 and he is turning 10 in a few months. My daughter was 6 when she started. We have loved the care and attention that the coaches give to all the kids. Both of our kids are non-neurotypical. My daughter has dyslexia, OCD, Autism and ADHD, but despite those things, she has been able to progress very well with the help of some wonderful coaches and she really enjoys learning new forms. We have been very happy with this class. My son has been a student since 7 years and has loved learning everything. We have been impressed especially how the current Covid situation was handled. The classes continued online without a hiccup and Sifu stayed in touch daily with encouraging stories and teachings. Even the black belt test prep happened online as an option for the students who preferred to do it from home. The coaches have been equally dedicated and encouraging. My son started at Wushu Central in 2014, and he is now at a conditional black belt. It has been amazing to see him progress and to continue to hone his skills and practice self discipline in his life. It has helped his self-confidence and given him tools to deal with stress and promote focus. My younger son is also now in wushu and enjoying his classes. I admire how they were able to establish an online practice quickly during the Pandemic. The teachers there are patient, kind, and rigorous. My 2 kids have been attending Wushu Central for 11 years. Sifu and his wonderful team of coaches have become family. The dedication and attention they give to each student is demonstrated through their endless amount of patience and encouragement for each individual to do better. My kids have learned focus, discipline and confidence. I started my son at wushu central about 6 months ago. He is was almost 4 when he started. His first class was around the same time he had started school so his anxiety about being left alone was sky rocketing on his first day. He cried and refused to leave me alone. Coach Tan was extremely patient with my son to the point where he stepped away from the class and allowed the other coach to take over so that he could give my son one on one attention to make him comfortable. We hosted our son's 5th birthday here last Saturday and the party was a hit! I want to thank Sifu Chang and his awesome team of Coach Tan, Austin, and Mike for making the party such a success. The team setup everything from tables, chairs, decorations, and food. They later helped to pass out pizza and chips to the children as well as my son's birthday cake. Pros: the studio I believe is owned by the management so they were able to establish a very spacious studio. This is sufficient for little kids with energy to burn. For the little heroes class, just be advised that this age group is really hard to accommodate. Most traditional martial arts classes do not have a sub 5 year old age group because they are so hard to control. Props to this place for having this age group. But on the same token, this age group focus is about learning order and structure. Don't expect hard core discipline. Schedules are super flexible and even include makeup days

The owner of Wushu Central was very open and receptive to the comments in my review and when we discussed in person. After that I have noticed hat all the tiny tiger classes include the obstacle course so they littles can be active while also practicing their Kung fu skills. A couple of weeks age we had what I would consider one of the best classes so far - it was amazing and my daughter excitedly talked about it for the next couple of days. You have x amount of days to back out of it when you first sign, and then you are stuck paying for 90 days if you decide to give notice that you are canceling. This is an amazing place to learn Wushu (kung fu)! I've been training here for over 9 years now.
I recently earned my 5th Degree Blackbelt at Wushu Central.
Probably one of the longest enrolled students, here!
I am not a coach there, however, I have observed the coaches teaching ages from 2 years old to preteens, to teens, and adults. What is different here is that there is NO EGO like you find in the "Cobra Kai" type places. All the staff are very cordial, respectful, and they listen well.
