Attorney Timothy D. Belt is the son of Reverend James and Patricia Belt, and he has resided primarily in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area since 1985. Timothy graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 1999 and shortly thereafter began practicing law in the Wilkes-Barre area.
A workplace injury triggers many challenges and difficulties in more ways than one. First, an injured worker must cope with pain and suffering while seeking to heal and recover from the injury itself. In addition, financial challenges arise from medical bills and lost time from work. If your worker's compensation benefits are denied, delayed or cut off, it only adds to your hardships and stress.
Some occupations are notoriously hazardous. Construction work, nursing and commercial trucking are jobs in which many workers suffer injuries sooner or later. Other occupations appear safe and sedate, but injuries still occur. Office jobs and retail jobs do not have a reputation for being dangerous; however, many employees in these lines of work suffer from repetitive use injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
Denial of a workers' compensation claim sometimes begins with an employer. The employer may refuse to cooperate, contending that an injury was not related to work activity. The employer may imply or state outright that an injured worker has fabricated or exaggerated an injury. A denial or delay of your workers' compensation benefits can prevent you from getting needed medical treatment and cause financial hardships.

I met Tim and the wonderful people who work at the Belt Law Firm at a very low point in my life. I was 62 injured and just lost my job. Tim got rite to work getting me what I needed, a successful Workmans Comp case, and help with getting my Social Security claim taken care of. I saw some Doctors and went to some court dates but Tim or one of his associates was with me the whole time. I am taking the time to tell you this as a token of my appreciation to Tim and his firm. Thank You

Attorney Timothy D. Belt, has demonstrated a range of outstanding legal expertise and knowledge, when I hired him to represent myself in a mainly complex ongoing Worker's Compensation case of a seventeen years. He explained the legal procedure in a manner, which was easily understood by a layperson, he was wonderful and compassioned about my case. He effectively prepared myself for a proper protocol for my deposition and court etiquette. His legal training and expertise are evident in his interaction with the judge and the opposing attorney. His credentials are first-class. He is a superior attorney

Attys. Timothy Belt & Edward Monsky of The Belt Law Firm are an excellent team to collaborate with. The attorneys displayed a concerned interest in my case. I expressed my gratitude for The Belt Law firm for taking on my Worker’s Compensation case. Now, I have peacefulness with going through this entire process with this team. I could not have chosen a better law practice to represent myself. The legal team is completely thorough, professional, and timely in handing my Worker’s Compensation case.

I had the privilege of seeking counsel through attorney Belts practice in regards to an unemployment matter. Attorney Timothy Belt is humble, kind, sincere, genuine, but more importantly knowledgeable, strong, and willing to fight for justice on behalf of his clients. If you’re reading this and debating on seeking counsel to help represent you or someone you love with an unemployment matter I encourage you to contact Timothy Belt. Personally, I thought I had enough factual evidence and knowledge to fight on my own so I went to the first hearing alone without help. The hearing was split up for
