Services
Glacial Lakes Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve Watertown, SD and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care.
Dr. Andrea Hennen is a 2004 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine as well as a very proud graduate of North Dakota State University. GO BISON! Upon graduation, she started working in a mixed animal practice in North Dakota and then moved to Watertown in 2007. Dr. Hennen especially enjoys working with exotic animals and internal medicine cases.
Our staff will get a chance to talk to you and see if you are having any trouble with your pet. We will also go over diet, preventative medicine, and exercise to ensure that your pet is as healthy as possible. Then, one of our veterinarians will do a complete physical examination on your pet. It is always good to have a baseline in case your pet ever becomes ill.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
We know that emergencies (of any kind) are very stressful for both you, your family, and your pet. It is our goal to help you in any way that we can. Our staff is dedicated and well trained to handle emergencies of all types. One thing that we do ask is that you to do is please call ahead, at (605) 753-0876, so that we are prepared for you when you walk in our doors!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Horrible place to work, very dark environment, and does not care about the employees. They will treat you like absolute garbage. Please, everyone looking for a job avoid this place and it’s people at all costs. I will forever tell everyone I know to avoid going to this vet and do not work for her!

Hi, my name is Snickers. I'm a 3 month old Bengal kitten. I had a bad tummy infection and couldn't eat at all. Dr. Hennen took a look at me and gave me some medicine. Now I'm all better and can run, jump, and play again.
I hope I don't get sick anymore but if I do, I'll go right back to Glacial Lakes cuz I know they will make me feel good again!
