Estate administration refers to the point in time after a loved one's passing when their wishes are carried out. Those wishes can be outlined in a Last Will and Testament, trust or other document (if they were fortunate enough to plan their estate in advance) or in accordance with the laws of intestacy, if they were not fortunate to reduce their wishes to legally acceptable formats.
Guardianship and conservatorship refers to the legal process of obtaining authority over the health affairs or financial affairs, respectively, of a person. Guardians are able to exercise legal authority over health decisions of a minor or incapacitated person, whereas conservators are able to exercise legal authority over the financial affairs of a minor or incapacitated person.

My partner and I are not married and we have a three year old daughter. We wanted to make sure we had the right family law documents to cover property transfers, healthcare proxies, and power of attorney, and ensure our daughter was properly cared for in the event of our deaths. Although I'm sure our business was a drop in the bucket for Joblin compared to his other clients, he couldn't have been more responsive, attentive, and diligent. Who loves writing their will? Not many, I assume, but Joblin Younger and his team made it both easy and thorough. He guided me towards a number of better approaches that I simply would never have thought of on my own or with an online do-it-yourself service. Every question was answered and every eventuality anticipated. (NOTE: I'm still alive so I guess I'll never REALLY know for certain. 😄 ) I'm pretty confident that those I leave behind will have all the clarity they need.
