Shiatsu 2 Go
Jessie is a French native hailing from Lyon and has practiced shiatsu for several years. She initially discovered Shiatsu as a musician. Wanting to expand her horizons into a different type of therapeutic art that centers around and helps other people while improving general physical and mental health.

Jessie studied shiatsu in the US at the renowned International School of Shiatsu in Doylestown PA. After 4 years of studying the practice, she became a shiatsu therapist to share her knowledge of this restorative bodywork with others. Jessie is an active Aikido student, practicing with Jason Perna Sensei at Aikido Old City.

Leave with techniques you can continue at home to help your area of concern. Sessions are fully clothed, and discounts are available if booking more than one session.
In this introductory course you will learn a treatment protocol for a full outline of the body and being introduced to the power of touch. You will get to practice simple ways to center and focus your attention, and learn some basic anatomy so you know what you are working on.

Shiatsu is based in Chinese medicine and you will learn some of the basics in Traditional Chinese Medicine such as the idea of meridians, or pathways of life energy throughout the body. The sequence that you learn is a perfect complement to a Reiki or massage practice and will benefit those who are not bodyworkers as well.
Shiatsu 2 Go studio is happy to work in partnership with Jefferson Cancer Center to treat and accompany cancer patients through their treatment. Shiatsu therapy is used as a form of regaining strength and function for patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or for those who are experiencing an extended illness.

The space Jessie has created in which to do her work is,
precisely and consciously, to promote the serenity and equanimity needed to
approach tough, resistant, even annoying (I’d sometimes rather ignore, wish‐they’dgo‐
away‐by‐themselves) spots. It is a safe environment, conducive to relax and feel
at ease, so important when examining tensions (some surprisingly new, some
habitually old) and blockages that keep energy from freely flowing, and
unjudgementally questioning the reason for those barriers and blockages. And
Ultimately, opening up to, and encouraging their letting go

Jessie Nguenang is a miracle worker. I approached Shiatsu2Go about 5 years ago with a serious chronic reaction to stress and Western doctors were unable to help me. I had a PCP and a specialist and an extensive test done and there was nothing satisfactory revealed. Jessie gave me some treatments and engineered a diet that would address my issue and it really worked! I go for back issues now and the routine really feels like a trip to the chiropractor, which is incredible because “all” Jessie is doing is managing energy flow through my meridians! I am so thankful to be graced with the intervention

I started going to Shiatsu2Go in 2018 when I was very symptomatic with an MS flare. Every time I’ve seen her, Jessie has been amazing at hearing my concerns and working on my active symptoms. I definitely see a difference in how I feel after I see her! Even when I’m doing relatively well, it is so relaxing and rejuvenating to see her! I highly recommend her services!

I’m a long timer in migraines (30 years) and have chiro+Physical Therapy every other week. Having Shiatsu treatment with Jessy has helped better managed the intensity of my migraines. There is the mechanical aspects as well as the mind: Jessy has taught me to manage the pain, get rid of it when i have an episode and also manage triggers such as stress and overachieving. I highly recommend if you are ready to take the lead over chronic pain and fight it!

I was gifted a series of 4 massages by a friend, (I would’ve never done this for myself) BEST gift I’ve ever received! Jesy is very intune and knowledgeable. It’s like acupuncture without the needles. I can’t say enough good things. Do it!

This was my first experience with Shiatsu. I had heard of the style before, but was unsure of how it differed from a "spa" massage. Between working on a computer all day and taking martial arts at night, my body had been feeling rather stiff. I decided to try it out, and I booked an appointment with Shiatsu 2 Go. BEST DECISION EVER. Jessie was friendly and calming. Unlike "spa" massages I've had in the past, she used pressure points to target my stress areas. There was stretching and working with my joints. When the session was over, Jessie told me she could feel I had a lot of frustration, so

Shiatsu 2 Go is an excellent place for healing all matter of ailments, aches, and pains. Jessie treated me for very bad back and shoulder pain, after just one session I already started feeling significantly better and after several sessions my pain was gone. Jessie is extremely professional, she has a wonderful treatment studio. What I appreciate the most is her holistic approach to treatment. It is also in an extremely convenient location in Center City on 8th and Market.
