This has been our mission statement since 1974, when our first non-profit childcare learning center was founded. Forty-seven years later, we are still thankful to be serving our community. Western Heights was founded in 1968 by Wallace and Norma Franklin. In 1962, Wallace and Norma opened Western Heights Church down on Bridge near Five Points. They grew out of that location and relocated to our current location in 1965.
