Our Roots - Shady Creek Greenhouses had its beginning in 1997 with the original owner providing plants for his hardware store. In June of 1999, Galen Becker bought the business that was then only four greenhouses and a small storage building. Galen owned Shady Creek for 15 years and grew it into 22 greenhouses with around 2 acres of outdoor production
