In 1901 BWYC became a charter member of the Southern Gulf Coast Yachting Association, and admitted to Gulf Yachting Association in 1922. Club Members have won sailing championships both regionally and nationally. We have one of the best youth sailing programs on the Coast; we maintain a fleet of club-owned boats in various classes to appeal to sailors
