At the age of sixteen Anthony started out as a concrete laborer for a residential company. Once eighteen he applied to become a union worker in Local Union 310 as a laborer for a Concrete Demo company in Cleveland, Ohio. A couple years later he joined Local 860 as a heavy highway concrete finisher.
