Rick Shipman started business in 1991 as a single proprietor. In the beginning, staff consisted of Rick and three employees who specialized in concrete work in southeast Missouri. In 1993, Rick expanded his service area and did several jobs as a subcontractor with other construction companies with Wal-Mart contracts.
