When the Swartzentruber family started Green Acres Outdoor Living in 1988, it was just a side business to their produce farming. The store was located along Rt. 145 in Whitehall, PA and only open 3 days per week. The concept was simple: Sell only high-quality, handmade lawn furniture and picnic tables at a fair price.
