Bosque Lodge is now known as Waco Lodge No. 92. Erath was an Indian fighter, soldier, surveyor and Major in the battle of San Jacinto. Erath County, Texas is named for him. Joe Davis Ballard, RPLS No. 5614, began his career in the land surveying profession after graduating from TSTI Waco with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering
