SADCO, Inc. was founded by H. F. "Jim" Levy in 1953 as a Philco Appliance distributorship covering the southern half of Alabama. In the late 1950's, we began to carry Philco TV's. When Philco was bought by Ford Motor Company in the late 1950's, we decided that it was not prudent to have all our eggs in the Ford basket.
