Albert Ellis Inc is a family-owned and operated business. Albert Ellis, the company founder, incorporated his existing business in 1924. He made it through the depression and brought on his two sons Albert L Ellis and William E Ellis. They each had a son that was brought into the business, Brian Ellis and Wm Scott Ellis.

Starting with one pickup truck and a sewer machine, Tommy started the company out of his home in Riverton, NJ.
