Growing up a close childhood friend of her mother's was in the antique business. By the time she was 12 years old, she had a natural ability to refinish furniture and bringing old things to life. A few years later her father and her started getting request from friends to make them furniture from old doors, windows, etc. which happened to fit perfectly
