Cargile Jewelers was established in 1950, by Cliff Cargile. It was one of the first jewelry stores in the community. Cliff came to Oneonta with his previous experience with a background in jewelry making and watchmaking that started his dream. The small store began originally on Main Street as a small business and then moved to its current location
