In 1987, Hing Lung Broadway was opened by Chuck Gong in Chinatown. The restaurant amassed a great number of customers due to its affordable and authentic Chinese food. The success led to another restaurant, Hing Lung by the Park, to be opened in 1993. This restaurant was also a success like its successor.
