Soon after, his wife, Donna, joined him at the store to help with answering phones and helping customers. In 1964, Charlie hired his first employee. Soon more space was needed, and the building at 346 N Stanislaus Street was purchased. The front of the building became the locksmith shop, and the back became Stockton's first U.L.
