Our funeral home is located in the historic J.R. Ballet Home circa 1896. We offer all the modern conveniences with a spacoius home like atmosphere. The home is decorated in victorian style to compliment the original woodwork and stained and cut glass. Displays of caskets and urns are available on-site.
The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members. Pre-payment will protect you from the rising cost of prices, and it will not be a financial burden on your loved ones.

Brandon Jensen at the Belvidere Funeral Home was simply amazing and the service he provided during our family’s time of hardship could not have been better. Our Marcus family lost our dear mother and sweet sister-in-law only two days apart and Brandon was thoughtful, professional and took a genuine initiative to do anything he could to help us during our time of unimaginable grief. He helped us through every detail and every bit of the process of planning the family viewing, memorial service, the designing of both of our loved ones beautiful prayer cards to the music video. Brandon and Colin made the day of my mothers passing easier by their kindness and calmness. For that, my family will always be grateful. We met with Brandon regarding all of the funeral details and he could not have been more accommodating. He and Colin answered all of our emails promptly and professionally and the service and follow-up were more than we could have hoped for. Before my grandfather passed away, he stated on what he wanted during his funeral to his wife. During his service, they went above and beyond what my grandfather wanted. For the funeral home, from my family; we like to thank them for the help and the patients they gave us during our difficult time. The Jensen family was so amazing helping us through such a tough time. They made us feel welcomed and cared for during such a sad time. They truly went above and beyond for my family and I with any request big or small. I can’t say enough good things about the Belvidere Funeral Home, the day of my mother’s service was kind of a blur but the Jensen family was there every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly.
