You want the best protection available for your loved ones. A burial vault is a lined and sealed outer receptacle that houses the casket.
Regardless of your choice for final disposition of your loved one's cremated remains, you will need to choose several containers. The first is either a casket or specially designed container for the funeral visitation and transfer of the deceased to the crematory. If you plan on ground burial for the urn, most cemeteries require it be placed in an urn vault.

My family would not recommend this funeral home to anyone!!! The director did not offer our family any help whatsoever in the planning and organization of my grandmother's funeral. Her passing was unexpected and none of us were familiar at all with the planning process and we received no help at all and last minute instructions from the staff. It certainly did not make anything easier for us at all!!! We have since spoken to others who have had negative experiences with this funeral home.
