What a complete and total ripoff this place is! I ordered the ravioli dinner for takeout. I received six, lukewarm small ravioli (poor quality like canned ravioli) in a "sauce" that had the taste and consistency of Campbell's Tomato soup. And a 2" hunk of Italian bread. Total price: $16! It would have been cheaper and just as tasty for me to buy a can of Chef Boyardee and heat it in the microwave! I don't know where the good reviews from TPR are coming from, but those people certainly didn't order the ravioli. TPR should be ashamed of this ripoff. Will never

TPR is an amazing family restaurant that I have been going to for as long as I can remember! I especially recommend the Penne CBT which has been amazing. Recently, I have been noticing that there have been more dishes added, the food containers seem to have changed material and size, and that some of the dishes have changed. They changed the Penne CBT so that it is Al Dente and it seems to have less sauce on the pasta, which I think should have stayed the same. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I still highly recommend!

I am always very happy with my food from TPR. The other day I picked up a regular pie and a grandma pie (think thin Sicilian if you're unfamiliar, it's a very popular style in NYC). Both disappeared before I got my fair share. Mozzarella sticks where delicious, and they're burger is spot on and large. Very generous portions. Have also had pasta w/ Alfredo, it was spot on delicious. Nice, attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit or try.

Hi all. I just had the most delicious grandma pizza and regular pizza. The tricolor and Mediterrean salad was so yummy. Next was the halubit with crispy smashed potatoes and spinach. Beyond delish. My dinner was beyond delicious. I forgot to tell you about the gram slam ice cream. I just can't. I'll take home a 5 quart container .. I'm coming back next week. I just love the new young management. !!! Xo

We had a fabulous meal two nights in a row... The best fresh pappardelle and pork shoulder ragu, along with Grandma's Pizza. Keeping it on the lighter side we enjoyed pan seared halibut with sautéed spinach and potatoes. Great Gelato to finish off the meal!!! Loved everything.

I guess they've changed ownership because this is NOT the TPR i know. i've ordered more than regularly since moving back to NJ 4 years ago and the last few times I've ordered, the food has been near inedible. their tomato sauce was home to me (i even once brought quarts of it when i was studying abroad lol), but sadly I wont be going there any longer. im so sad - please go back to the old menu (or at least bring back the sauce?!)

Terrible! Just terrible! Horrible customer service. Their prices keep increasing and the pizza is lousier and lousier. Paulies' Pizza and Pizza Nova, both on Washington round the corner are much more reasonable. Great pizza at reasonable prices. Go there instead.

My new favorite Italian restaurant. Robert always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. Food is excellent and our dining experience is always enjoyable. The quality of their pizza is also very consistent. Looking forward to many more dining experiences at TPR.

We had the most horrible experience recently, we ordered gluten free pasta due to severe allergy issue and asked them three times if the pasta was gluten free and the women said yes, my daughter fell so sick after eating it.this is complete cheating and fraud. Stay away if you have allergies. Thanks

Missing grandma slices since I moved out of Manhattan. So glad this is now a staple on their menu.

The owner just made a batch of meatballs with their new recipe and allowed me to try one. They were flavorful and juicy.

Almost as good as the original Rudys!
Very good pizza with crunchy crust, good mozzerella and sauce.. so so so close to the best Rudys! We ate inside during the stupid lockdowns of 2020. No masks! We were able to sit down and eat like normal human beings with no masks! Very good! The dinning room is nice. They have lots of tables. Comfy leather seats. Free yummy bread made fresh and hot.
Pros:
Great pizza, almost as good as Rudys
Free yummy bread, fresh and hot
Free parking
Indoor dinning
No masks!
Friendly employees!
Good menu selection
Cons:
None

Went in today to pick-up a couple of sandwiches. Clearly stated outside signage required face mask. Great! Business being responsible. Upon entering they were serving a woman at the counter with no mask in evidence. I asked the people working behind the counter about the requirement for masks. They said yes absolutely. I then asked why were you serving that woman before me without a mask. They stuttered a little bit before saying sorry not everyone is wearing them. Are these not the rules mandated by the Dept of health and local and state governments? I will not go back to TPR again. They clearly

Re:takeout is poor
We moved to town a few years ago and have ordered pizzas for a number of parties - large orders that I come in to place ahead of time. The service is consistently poor, and I've chalked it up to their being busy or the guy taking the orders is young or that I'm new to town. However, enough is enough - this time the pizza was even laughable - I had deliberately split an order into two separate pick ups an hour apart so that I would have hot pies to serve. They were cold both times and the toppings were not even spread evenly. I know it's just pizza, but come

PROS: This place is one of my fav pizza places around. It has that Italian atmosphere vibe, the staff is very friendly, they have a large selection of well priced items on their menu, and tons of parking out front. They're also a two part business where they have an eat in and a pick up for to go orders. Both are separated from each other. The best part of it was the food came out quickly!

CONS: I ordered the chicken parm and the food was a little undercooked which cause stomach pains later on. That tells me other things may not be cooked thoroughly which is probably why the food came out

Popped in tonight for a quick dinner before another engagement later. I hadnt been to TPR in years therefore was pleasantly surprised to see it appear so modern, clean and spacious! It was quiet for a Tuesday evening at 5:15 pm. We got seated right away, ordered a salad and slice of pizza. They brought out a fresh hot mini loaf of crispy italian bread for the table. It was quite good! The salad was very tasty (I ordered the roasted peppers, romano cheese and grillIed chicken. Was about $17 and tasty.

My son enjoyed his slice and even took the leftover bread home.

Overall quite a nice experience

Surprised at how extensive the restaurant's menu was for a pizza place. I had the seafood fra diavolo and it was good - a nice amount of heat, not over the top. My friends' capellini with broccoli rabe and the gnocchi with meat sauce were good too.

They remodeled in the past year or so and have plenty of comfortable seating. I would recommend trying TPR for a casual Italian eat-in destination.
