Reservations are welcome but not required, we also offer both full service and take away catering for events. Stir-fried Shrimps, chicken breast, beef, scallions & beansprouts with authentic thick rice noodles in special flavor mushroom soy sauce.

We were staying a couple nights in Marina to go whale watching (Dec 18th? 2021) It was raining and cold and and we just wanted a place to eat that wouldn't break the bank. Ho-Wah was a warm ray of sunshine. Service was fast and efficient. The waitress had warmed our tea cups, our plates and brought us a space heater...even though we hadn't requested any of these things. What a sweetheart.

This evening, we ordered from this restaurant and ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken, steamed rice, and crab cheese wontons. The orange chicken had hardly any glaze on it and for the sesame chicken they gave us came into two separate containers to assemble it. The sesame glaze did not taste like sesame glaze at all and had no sesames in it. It tasted like oil only.
However, I will say we did like the crab cheese wontons and shrimp fried rice which were very good. Our dinner was $55 and we barely ate any of the orange chicken or sesame chicken.

My husband and I are living here temporarily since Spring and once we discovered Ho-Wah we started coming one every week or two! The food is so delicious and our top dishes are the beef chow fun, orange chicken, veg egg rolls, salt and pepper wings (we ask for not spicy), and the special that is a combo of meat and shrimp with green beans. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared and Dezen the owner or manager is very accommodating and sweet if you get to know her. The best Chinese food I have ever had. My super picky son loved the food. He couldn’t stop taking about how much he enjoyed it. The green beans and chicken was full of flavor and delicious. Staff was thoughtful and polite. An amazing experience! We are sad we live too far away… this would definitely be in our normal rotation if we lived in the area.

My family and I are visiting from the east coast & we decided to stop here for dinner! All of the food was FRESH and Hot when it came out to the table. The service is outstanding & quick! I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, salt and pepper chicken and the salt and pepper fish. Normally all is the best, but the shrimp lacked badly. The coating was missing from the shrimp, and the chicken and fish both had the coating and were just perfect. Only reason they lose a star.

Cute little restaurant nestled away in Marina, perfect for the drive home. I sought out this place because I wanted authentic style chinese food. Most chinese restaurants serve Americanized chinese food, but this place does both. The Ginger tea here is even homemade, not a bag in a pot! It's perfect for a cloudy day at the beach.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I’ve been going here for almost 4 years now and have never had a bad meal. The owner is the sweetest woman in the world and cares so much about her food and customers. The food is always fresh, delicious, and healthy (unlike some Chinese restaurants in America). The owner works so hard and gives back to her local community. This is a great local business to support and you will not be disappointed with the food! Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had! I never liked Chinese food until I came here and now I can't get enough. My family has been coming here since I was in elementary school and the food has never disappointed! Our favorites include the sizzling rice soup, the fried tofu, and the green beans. The servers are always very accommodating of our requests and the price is right!

As hungry travelers passing through area we wanted some delicious Chinese food. We happened to stumble across Ho Wah and were not disappointed. As soon as we walked in we were treated like family! The menu offers a huge variety of delicious meals at an affordable value with huge portion sizes! Such a hidden gem in Marina! There aren't a ton of memorable Chinese food places in the area.. until now! A friend suggested we check out Ho Wah, and I'm so glad she did! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the owner even came to check on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food tastes so fresh, the inside was so clean, and extremely friendly. I can't wait to go back!! If you're a local, do not sleep on this spot.. you will not be disappointed!

First time eating here in the three years living in Marina. Wow! Soo good. And I'm honestly not a huge Chinese food fan, no reason. But during this crazy Pandemic I think it's important to support local businesses.
The lady who answered the phone was really nice. I ordered broccoli beef, and asked for a recommendation for an appetizer and she read the appetizer menu for me!
I decided on the salt and pepper chicken wings. She threw in a free desert too. When I arrived they were safely practicing social distancing. I look forward to continuing to support this business.

I came here a couple of times and it's a random hit or miss. What I do notice is that the thickness of their soup is more than other Chinese restaurants. Their flavoring is super delicious but there's too much sauce mixed in with the food that you either have to order more rice or water on the side.
