Been going to DP for years but they really mislead me this time and it just really rubbed me the wrong way. Brought my car in with a simple tire chirp and asked they just address that. Well, they charge me $500+ for rear brakes and swear that's the issue after I ask a ton of questions. Noise returns immediately. A week later, I took it to another garage and they said DP definitely knowingly mislead me Bc there's no way that could've been the issue. Never going back.

Dave is the best mechanic. I have a 20 year old car that I hope to drive for 20 more years because of Dave. I have never been condescended to by anyone on his staff and never feel ripped off. In fact, he often charges me less than his estimate and regularly tells me not to bother to fix some stuff. He also lets me order after-market parts myself and then I just pay his team labor costs. Everyone who works there is nice, enormously competent and clearly enjoys their work.

I tell him the symptoms, he examines, and comes back with a recommendation which - more often than not - has been a minor fix/adjustment, or advising me not to worry about it for now if it's an aging part (we have older cars).

This was my second time taking my 13-yr old Hyundai Accent to DP Auto...and I wish I had starting going there years ago. My neighbors kept telling me this was the place to go but I was tied to an extended warranty deal with the dealer, which finally ran out last year. It's SO much better to deal with a neighborhood auto place, like this one. They are very reasonable, very nice, and honest! Glad I finally got the word about this place!

Recently had rear brakes and rotors replaced along with spark plugs and fuel induction service on my Mazda and was SO pleased with the efficiency of the shop, communication, and same-day service. In an email request for pricing, David provided me with the estimated costs per service within the hour. Rare find for an auto repair shop: quick, reliable, fair pricing, and honest. Super attentive and fast! I took my car in for a check up and they were quick with some minor fixes and informed me I needed new tires, which they were able to schedule me in for a appointment a few days after. And to go above and beyond, they texted me after a few days to make sure everything was good.

My friend and roommate, Ethan, referred me to these guys and I’m very glad he did! I’ve been to DP three times now with various car issues, and they’re always very clear about what the problem is and how to fix it. I've brought my car in a few times, and they always go the extra mile to treat you like a friend would, and as my last car was nearing the end of it's useful life, saying it would be better to look for something new instead of paying a lot to fix it.
Recent maintenance work comes with a follow up to see how the car is running, and they've worked after business hours to make sure my car's ready to go when they said.
Their word means a lot to their customers, and I'm both happy

I've been bringing my cars here for a few years now, and the service is always terrific. The price is reasonable, and their customer service is probably some of the best I've ever experienced. I'm always struck that David remembers me or my car, even though I only stop by every few months. You just don't seem to see that kind of care anymore at other establishments.
