Forget the rush of fast food and repetition of chain restaurants - come to historic Trail's Lounge for a relaxing, affordable and delicious dinner served by friendly, attentive wait staff. Owned by the Madani family for over 30 years, Trail's Lounge is a unique supper club. True to its roots, the decor includes real birch trees and a historic Indian motif.

The experience begins with a cocktail - a classic Wisconsin brandy old fashioned, a modern cosmopolitan or just a good beer. A medley of good oldies music, country and pop fills the air. Your hosts, Manoucher and Pat, love to experiment in the kitchen and always have something new to taste while you are waiting to order.

This restaurant was chosen by a work group, and I was initially hesitant to join due to typically having very few options as a vegetarian at places like this. However, I did find a few things and everything was quite tasty. Very reasonable prices, friendly and personable staff, rustic and whimsical décor with local history highlighted.

The food was excellent! Prime rib and steamed walleye both outstanding. Staff is very friendly. Strong positive recommendation.

Food was pretty good, not spectacular but definitely good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly though and the salads come with just lettuce and they bring you a cart to put your own toppings on which is pretty cool! Prices were exactly what we thought they'd be and fair for what you're getting. Waitress was very friendly, and we'll definitely go again!

Extremely disappointed that they advertise daily prime rib and even have it on the special menu but claimed not to serve it except for Friday and Saturday now. The steak I ordered was probably one of the worst as it has zero flavor or seasoning. I did like the decor of the establishment

Went there for our 28th anniversary had Prime Rib, was Awesome, haven't been there in 20 years, since my Mom and step Dad took us there, , if you ever been to the Thunderbird in Deforest, back when it was there, This place reminds me of the Thunderbird Supper club. Friendly staff and the owner was bartending. AWESOME

Just went and loved the food. However the service has really gone downhill... We got seated right away and then waited around 20 minutes to even place our orders. Then we waited like 30 more minutes for two dishes. We got cornfritters and asked if we could get more towards the end and even asked for them as a side so we could pay to receive more. The older lady rolled her eyes and said that's a lot to ask. When she gave us 3 more, she sighed and tossed it on the table rather rudely. We also had to remind her to grab us water about 35 minutes into waiting.... Sad to see a great restaurant go down

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Older establishment in need of updating, however the bar and dining room very spacious. Had the small tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection, along with the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. Staff very nice. Very reasonably priced.

Food is always very good here. Love the owner and staff. Great cocktails made correctly. Somewhat limited menu and no salad carts due to covid but absolutely not their fault. Wonderful dining experience.

The service was good. The waitstaff friendly. The price was reasonable for a supper club. The food was good. The prime rib was not quite as rare as I like it but was not bad. I would put the au jus on the side. If you are going to serve canned root beer maybe a name brand not Walmart great value.
