You are busy with your family, work, and other obligations. You worry about your special needs child and whether she is receiving an appropriate education. Then it's time to attend an IEP meeting, and a sense of dread takes hold. All of this becomes so overwhelming. Does this sound familiar? If this sounds like your story, we are here to help you.
We will work along side you to ensure your special needs child receives the education she deserves and has a right to by law. We understand trying to find a time to meet during "normal" business hours can be difficult. To help, we offer virtual appointments available on your schedule. Perhaps in the evening or after Saturday's soccer game?

Services
When you work with us, we work as a team because you know yourself and your family best. When making decisions and offering you advice, we always put ourselves in your shoes. If we would not make the same decision for our family, we certainly do not expect you to do so for yours. In other words, we will always be upfront and honest, even if it is not what you want to hear.
Your child's unique, individual needs determine the services we provide to you. Our priority is helping you work cohesively with your child's school system for the best interest of your child. You will likely have a long relationship with the school district; therefore, it is best to keep the relationship on good terms when possible.
Whether you are a special needs parent comfortable with advocating on your child's behalf or find all things Special Education overwhelming and time consuming, we have an advocacy package for you. All packages are billed at fixed fee rates, so you never have to worry about receiving a surprise bill.
As simple as it sounds, I chose to become a lawyer to help parents like you and to make a difference, no matter how small. When you are feeling overwhelmed with trying to advocate for your child's education, I hope you reach out to me so we can work as a team for your child. I truly want to help your child reach his/her potential.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
I've known Lila both personally and professionally for more than twenty years. She is dedicated, stubbornly determined and always acts in the best interest of those she's around. She takes loses personally and takes wins as a team effort. If you're looking for an attorney to represent you, look no further. I know that I won't!
