Extremely disappointing. Kitchen lost our food order after we had already received our app in a timely manner. Waitress failed to mention this to us, only after we asked her where the food was and specifically the kid menu items and side salads that we should have already received since other tables that arrived after us had already received food did we receive this information . This was 20 minutes after she said our food would be right out. Then after telling us the kitchen lost our ticket we waited another 15 min with nothing before we ended up leaving without any food. Will not be returning

We took a short trip during the week and had a taste to find a good fish restaurant. Huck Finn's was just that place. We sat outdoors. They started to get a bit busy but food was really good. Staff was a bit short handed but they kept checking up on us. Check them out. The food and the view was great.

My husband & I were in LaCrosse with our small dog on a Saturday night. We were struggling to find a place to have dinner that wasn’t fast food or bar food. We needed to bring the dog because it was too warm to leave her in the car & we couldn’t leave her in our hotel room. Found Huck Finn’s- what a great place. It’s inside the marina. We sat on the patio overlooking the river & beautiful boats. The service was great from the moment we walked in. We ordered the surf & turf filet & shrimp. We were impressed, everything was prepared fresh, even the delicious homemade soup & salad dressing

Came here for lunch before a flight and I loved it! It is such a cute area on the water front. If I lived in the area, I could see myself coming here all the time. Everyone is super friendly as well. The cod is so tender and flavorful. The table beside me ordered wraps and they looked pretty big. If I come back in the area, I'm definitely coming back!

Had terrible old fashion to start and then we were there an hour 15 min before we finally got our food. cold steak n shrimp and 2 orders of mushy catfish that was way over cooked. not to mention a baked potatoe that wasn't done. Manager then tried making excuses for his kitchen. won't go back and won't recommend...

I had the smoked salmon on crackers and my husband had the cheese curds for appetizers. We also had the chicken, cranberry, pecan wraps for our main course. Everything was super yummy! If we are ever driving through again, we will go for sure!

This establishment was extremely underwhelming. The jumbo shrimp I ordered was not cooked or seasoned. I'm not a picky eater at all, so me leaving a bad review on food is saying a lot. The sweet potato fries were cold and tasted like I could've made them at home in my oven. The coleslaw was also bad, I make better. Lastly, my cocktail seemed to be 96% mixer and 4% alcohol. This place is by far one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Maybe they're better at basic foods like burgers, fries, and salads. Dine here with caution.

The perfect place right on the river. They have a fantastic patio area! I had a Huckleberry Mojito and a Pina Colada which were so very yummy😁. We ordered a wrap and a burger to share. We had soup and salad for sides. Everything was very delicious and flavorful. Our waitress was super sweet and genuinely friendly and helpful💜. It took awhile to get our food which was acknowledged by our waitress. But no complaints as we were very content with being outside on a great patio with a wonderful view 😊.

We were on our way back from Minnesota to our home in central Wisconsin, and decided we had time to get away from the Interstate for lunch. Huck Finn's came up in an online search, and with a Marina Drive address we expected a place with a view.
We were right. The restaurant is next to a boat yard and overlooks a marina on French Island, the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi.
My wife ordered the Wing Dam Shrimp appetizer, which turned out to be very delicious. She purchased a container of Wing Dam Sauce to bring home. The shrimp had a slight crunch and the sauce was perfect.

We were traveling through and had our dog.... looking for a place to eat outside. Beautiful view of the marina - enjoyed a cool fall day! The food was delicious! My husband asked for another cup of soup to go! (Kale & sausage). I'm trying to take off COVID weight and asked for a plain chicken breast and it was well seasoned and not dry. Great find!!

4 stars because of the great atmosphere on the water, but food was just ok. The staff was very friendly. The wing dam shrimp appetizer has great taste but at $12 it comes out to a spendy $1 a bite. Burger was good and presented well but was definitely a frozen patty. I had a mojito and was just ok. Mint and more lime needs to be mulled a bit for an authentic better flavor. Chicken sandwich used a patty that was way whiter than it should have been. Must have been pre heated and waiting to be put on the bun. A few grill marks would go a long way. I'm from Minnesota so I am not an expert in Friday fish, but I do know I love the fish here! I've had the cod, which is lightly battered and super crisp, and the perch which is also crispy fried but flaky and delicious. The meals are generous in size and every accompaniment is also very good. I highly recommend the cheese curds and ask for "wing dam" sauce, SO YUMMY! Finally the service is impeccable, Patty is a delight and caters to your every need. The bar is also fun when the marina folks are carousing. I can not recommend Hucks more!!!

Really cool place on the river. Has a marina with tons of boats. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. Food overall was good, but I'd recommend staying away from the steak on steak night special... it was pretty flavorless and not cooked to order. The shrimp, walleye, chicken and calamari the rest of our group had was good though.

Great food, amazing service. Right by the river and harbor. Dog friendly, which was a major plus. Staff even brought dog water bowl and treats. I was told in the past the had dog ice cream to cool your pup down. Did the whole spread appetizer to dessert. Beer, cocktails and sparkling wine. 5 stars all around. Would have been six, but they didn't have my brand of Scotch.

When crossing the county from WA to Door County Wisconsin, we stopped overnight in La Crosse, WI. We did the paddlewheel boat tour then decided to eat on the Mississippi river. So we opted for this place.
We tried A burger and a fish sandwich. Both were fairly good, and service was good, although we though the prices were a bit steep for what you get. Also, the view isn't exactly Mississippi river, but a marina that leads to the main river. But there aren't too many choices for waterfront dining in La Crosse, so this is as close as that gets
