We like the pizza and have been customers for many years. However, you might as well not even try getting a pizza delivered. Minimum wait time of 1.5 hours, but many times it takes over 2 hours. We live about 10 minutes away. And if you call to check on your order, the staff are not all that friendly about it. My advice - order for carryout since they usually have it ready close to the time they promise.

Have been ordering from here for nearly 20 years..Have become disappointed. The last two times, the chicken was over cooked to the point of it being almost inedible. Didn't think much of it because it wasn't a regular occurrence.
Last night the food was terrific, however we ordered a 20 piece chicken, had it explained that there was a shortage of breasts. Fine. They say they will throw in extra to make up for it. Nope, never happened. Also asked for a discount. Nope.
If we were to order all white meat chicken, we would certainly expect to be charged extra, and rightfully so. Very disappointed

This place is a total waste of time. Ordered pizza at 530pm, called at 7pm to check on the order and they were unable to locate any order for our address or phone number. You would think that a small local restaurant would have pride in service but not here. Not the first time we have had issue but it will be the last. Pizza Hut here we come.

Ordered a taco pizza and went and picked it up not thinking when told the amount was higher than I was told on the phone, not a huge amount difference but if web page shows $20.79 then that it what I should have been charged not $21.93. I understand and am sorry I miss read the receipt. Pizza was great tasting 😋

Having recently relocated to La Crosse I'm busily visiting nearby eateries with a view to building my list of local, go-to eateries.
I was impressed by Pizza Corral's Original crust pizza albeit thin-crust and appreciated the taste of their sauce featuring the all-important ingredient - sugar - that combats the acidity of tomato sauces and pastes.
I requested extra crispy crust that was well executed and learned for future visits to ask that they go easy on the cheese as they were far too generous for this diner's taste buds. Yes, Toto, I realize I'm in Wisconsin where cheese

I was in the area and wanted pizza. I thought I'd try it based on other reviews.
I don't like that I had to wait longer than everyone else that arrived after I did to pickup a pizza that was supposed to have been ready and I didn't like this 'slightly' burnt pizza.
Who blackens the cheese?? Pizza Corral that's who. Not cool looking nor tasting.

I had to laugh at the review that said, "who visits Holmen"? Well, we do. This trip we were stuck in our hotel due to an ice storm. The front desk staff of our hotel raved about the broasted chicken from Pizza Corral, and that's what I had been craving since arriving from FL.
I was happy they were delivering even though the roads were bad. I ordered 2 chicken dinners. I hate to sound petty, but when you're stranded in a hotel, you need what you need when you place an order. I specifically asked for the condiments we'd need for our meal. They said they had everything

Well, I and three of my family did visit Holmen! We needed lunch to satisfy a couple of budding foodie/teens; they both agreed that Pizza Corral was top-notch. We had the Deluxe, it had lots of cheese, fresh mushrooms, and plenty of sausage and Canadian bacon. The sauce was a little watery, but with lots of good tomato flavor and the right amount of spicy nip.
It may be the best pizza I have ever had in small town Wisconsin. (That is, it's not superb pizza, but it's superior for the location.) Now, if they could just give up slicing it into three-inch squares and cut real slices...

Yes, it is the staple in the Holmen area......mainly because the food is excellent! The pizza is some of the best I've ever had-same goes for the broasted chicken! Julie has done a fab job since taking over for Len and Sandy a while back and I know most everyone that went to Holmen and moved away....when they come back to visit, they make it their #1 stop! Good memory stop but also-like I said, excellent food!
Don't forget they have a GREAT weekday inexpensive lunch buffet!

Pizza Corral is a default setting for Holmen. It's like how the recycling bin on Windows used to be...you can't delete it (unless you're Chuck Norris, but that's an entirely different topic) and you will use it.
Pizza Corral will always have a place in my heart. It was the hangout for middle and high schoolers during the 80's. Just a short walk through the cornfield and you're there.
