Moore Family Dental is proud to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality dental services available. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards.
Dr. Michael Moore is a native of the Buffalo area. Raised in Amherst, Dr. Moore attended St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, Canisius College, and finished his education at SUNY @ Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He continued on at U.B. after being accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) program.
Antonina is approaching her 20th anniversary at Moore Family Dental. She is most likely the first warm voice you hear when calling or checking in at the office. She also works with Nancy handling insurance claims and scheduling. She is an avid gardener; often the "fruits" of her labor can be found around the office.
Our Amherst dentist office utilizes the most modern technology and amenities. Our goal is to provide each patient with maximum comfort during their visit. The minute you enter our office, you'll be greeted with a friendly voice and have access to complimentary coffee and beverages in our family-friendly waiting area.
We know that some patients get more nervous than others at the mere sight of a needle and syringe. At Moore Family Dental, our goal is to keep you as relaxed and comfortable as possible. The Wand is a computer-assisted system for local anesthesia. It carefully guides our dentists as they are performing dental injections.

Went to Dr. Redman today for an tooth removal extraction. It was a hard tooth to remove. Dr. Rick and his assistant did a great job to make sure I was comfortable and not feeling anything. They were very kind and polite. I had no issues and am never going back to my previous dental group again, ever. Thank you so much for the wonderful care! John T

I have been a patient of Dr. Moore’s for over 10 years. I find the staff very professional and very caring of their patients. Nancy who works in the office is spectacular! Her friendly demeanor and professionalism is above and beyond. Jackie the hygienist is second to none! Always asking if she’s hurting you and making sure you are in no discomfort. We share lots of stories. Instead of not looking forward to going to the Dentist.... I actually look forward to seeing all the staff.

I have been coming here for almost 10 years now. I got my husband, my daughter, mom, grandparents and a few friends to start coming here. I have always been terrified of the dentist but I actually enjoy coming here. The staff is super helpful and pleasant and the hygienists and dentists are awesome! Highly recommend.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Moore’s for a few years now, and the high quality care is what keeps me coming back. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention patient (I have very sensitive teeth and am a baby when it comes to the dentist 😂). I would recommend their office to anyone looking for a solid dentist/orthodontist. I am currently going through them for Invisalign and they have been amazing through the process.

Moore Family Dental is amazing. I’ve been going there for 5 years and even convinced my husband to switch over. The entire staff is so friendly and professional! They took very impressive measures to make their office safe and clean during the pandemic. Eileen gave me great advice for my newborn on how to implement oral care in the upcoming months. I have no hesitation to bring my daughter there for her very first dentist visit!
