Services
Meet Jade, our practice manager! She is originally from Wild & Wonder West Virginia. Jade joined the AngelCare team in 2020, and she has 8 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Jade has a BA in Chemistry and a Master's in Business Administration. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is loving on and talking to our furry friends during their visits.
Our philosophy is centered around the precious bond that has endured between humans and their pets for centuries. We are committed to compassionately caring for your pets from their first vaccines to their final years. We believe that our responsibility for your pet's health doesn't end when you take your pet home.
At AngelCare Veterinary Hospital, we believe that regular checkups and wellness exams are critical to your pets' well-being. These wellness exams give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet while also giving us a baseline for their unique health. Not only do these exams keep us up-to-date with your pets' health, but they also allow us to detect potential problems before they become serious.
AngelCare offers a wide array of radiology (x-ray) services. Our x-ray machine is an advanced model which produces extremely high quality images that can be manipulated by our doctors to identify even the most subtle abnormalities. We perform radiographs on our sick patients to help us diagnose a wide variety of conditions such as pregnancy, bone/ joint diseases, stomach/intestinal foreign bodies, heart/ lung diseases, and cancer.
AngelCare has an in-house laboratory that has the ability to perform numerous tests. We are able to test for heartworm disease, lyme disease, urinary tract diseases, and a host of other illnesses without your pet's sample ever leaving our hospital. We routinely perform CBC's to assess your pet's red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, and Chemical Profiles on our patients with most results being available in 10-30 minutes.

Best people to bring your fur babies to. Loving, caring, kind, compassionate
UPDATE: When I write this it was when Dr. Horton was our vet. Now that she is gone the new staff cause me great concern. I will not go into it here but what they did to me today will no doubt cause my per to suffer bc now I have to find a new vet and it won't be easy. In all the years I brought my pets to Dr. Horton I never ever was treated like this. If I could give a zero rating I would.

The folks at Angel Care are kind and attentive, they helped me when my dog was ill, they treated as though he was theirs. I had to take him backs few months later, his cancer had progressed rapidly. They were all so sweet to Boston and myself when it came time to having to put him down. They are truly wonderful people.
