Welcome to Powell Fitness, a premier training facility model unlike any gym out there. Working with a wide variety of trainers with combined experience of over 100 years, the Powell philosophy is simple, yet effective - to improve your quality of life through functional exercise and food education.

Whether you are a weekend warrior, a competitive athlete, or a complete beginner, there is a trainer and program for you. Our trainers are certified professionals with specialties as unique and varied as our clientele. You'll never feel judged here, and you'll always be with someone who has your best interests - and health - in mind.
Services
Whether your goal is to lose weight, add muscle, train for a competition, or simply get ready for beach season, there's a customized program for you. Most importantly, based on your goals, Powell Fitness trainers create custom workout regimens, custom meal plans, as well as tips and tricks for optimal results.
PFT is premier a personal training and wellness studio. We have more than 25 independent certified training professionals. We do not have memberships. Everything is done by appointment with a personal trainer or in one of our group training sessions. Our flagship studio is located at 12-L Wendy Ct in Greensboro.
Our personal trainers have decades of experience in the industry and are a trustworthy source for personalized programming. Selecting a personal trainer is a very important step in reclaiming your health and vitality, or taking your training to the next level! A personal trainer serves many roles; accountability partner, coach, safety supervisor and much more.
Powell Fitness offers a variety of group training options to help you get back into shape or take your fitness to the next level! Boot camps in Greensboro may be a dime a dozen, but our trainers have creative, comprehensive sessions that are expertly crafted for optimal results. Options include everything from beginner group fitness classes all the way to advanced cross training classes.
This program introduces clients to strength and conditioning using light to moderate weight and sub-max heart rate training as well as developing flexibility. This class is perfect for those just starting or those that do not feel quite ready to go in to strength and conditioning class. This class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:45-6:30 pm, & Saturday 9:00 am and is instructed by Will Powell.

I'm someone that has always cared about my health but I was never able maintain active intrest in keeping up with it. Since joining after talking to their trainers I finally grasped the concept that it really is a lifestyle. You have to change your mind frame and everything else falls into play.

I used to be very active and got out of the habit when I was pregnant 3 years ago with my son. I then had two physically and emotionally difficult miscarriages (one included 6 weeks limited movement) resulting in me being angry and disappointed in my body. However, I knew I needed to get back in shape and Jessica Powell welcomed me with open arms.… She was patient, compassionate and completely supportive of my goals and desires without letting me “get away” with not giving my all. I still have a ways to go but after 10 months, I still want to be at the gym giving it my all.

This place will absolutely change your life. I think that's about the highest praise you could ever give a personal training studio but it's the truth.
