Northminster Preschool has been serving families in the Clairemont community since 1970. We are a play based preschool that meets the emotional, physical, moral, academic, and social needs of the children enrolled. The preschool works in partnership with parents and teachers to further the spiritual nurture of the child.
The curriculum is geared to meet the needs of your individual child. It will provide an environment of play based activities. Through a variety of daily experiences, the child will be offered creative expressions in arts and crafts, games, songs, math concepts, languages, sciences, large and small muscle development activities and social, spiritual, and emotional growth through participation in group activities and stories.

Services
Northminster Preschool primarily follows the San Diego Unified School District holiday and closure schedule. Our first day of the Fall program begins the Tuesday after Labor Day. This year we will continue our program throughout the Summer and conclude at the end of July. We are closed the entire month of August.
Our wait list is for the current school year only. It does not carry over from year to year. After registration opens, we start a wait list once a class is full. Once we have an opening throughout the year, we start at the top of the wait list and see who is still interested in attending at that time.
