Prior to earning her DVM in 1981 from Auburn University, Dr. Rottersman completed her Bachelor's at the University of Georgia and her Masters in Microbiology from Eastern Kentucky University.
Areas of veterinary medicine in which she has special interest include oral surgery and dentistry. The most rewarding aspect of her career is developing relationships with people and their pets that last a lifetime, and through multiple generations. Dr. Rottersman considers veterinary medicine to be her greatest gift, because every day is a new adventure.

THE STAFF AND THE DOCTORS ARE AMAZING! My baby Naira gets so excited when she see everyone here especially Dr. Ponce. Dr. Ponce have been treating Naira since she was a puppy and I absolutely love her! I love… that she gives examples, very thorough And gives you the simplest option to better take care of your dog or animal! But it’s not just the doctors, it’s the staff too! I highly recommend people go here!

We recently discovered Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital through a recommendation from another local fb group. Our previous vet suddenly closed without notice and we were left without care for our senior pugs. Our pup saw Dr. Ponce and OMG - love her!!! Unfortunately due to Covid, I wasn’t able to meet her in person as they come out to your car to… grab your pet, but Dr. Ponce was MORE than thorough, easy to talk to (especially as I cried on the phone while she told us our pug has cataract) and appropriately prescribed some other meds our pet needed. Dr. Rottersman is great with rabbits, and that's a rarity around here. She's one of only two vets around here that I trust. (The 2nd vet is my backup vet*.) I even travel an hour each way just to get my rabbits to Dr. R. The prices are reasonable and I absolutely trust her to not recommend any unnecessary tests or procedures -- she's actually… talked me out of a few tests!
